The guest writer of Sunday's Politico Playbook was Meet The Press host Chuck Todd. Unlike in the case of the partisan politically correct Todd, there was no emergency zoom call of over 200 Politico staffers throwing a hissy fit about Todd writing in their publication as was the case recently with Ben Shapiro. Of course, the reason was that Todd could be always relied upon to faithfully promote the Democratic Party narrative as he has done over the years.
Todd, who has been obviously biased for his whole career, is unhappy when conservatives point out liberal media bias. He whined, "Personally, it’s been very frustrating to deal with, because of how cynical and exploitative the reason is for the avoidance. One of the laziest tropes in conservative circles is the issue of media bias. It’s such a reflexive response these days."

I wouldn’t call it lazy. It just doesn’t take a lot of work to find it. For example, I don’t know how many articles I read in the aftermath of the election that referred to “baseless claims of election fraud”. An unbiased report would have left out “baseless.” And then there are all the times when I directly read or heard Trump or Republicans say something, and the media report it out of context or with an opposite meaning. And there are also all the times media figures have referred to conservatives as white supremacists , Nazis, fascists, misogynists, you name it. See? It’s easy, not lazy. You just have to keep your eyes and ears open.

Todd is confusing lazy with easy. It’s easy to see the bias of the media. It would be lazy not to see the media’s bias because that means you have expended no effort at all.
Not nearly so lazy as the bulk of the media that appear to have the intellectual curiosity of doorknobs.
I guess it’s lazy because it takes absolutely no effort to see?
I mean, they blatantly lie to our faces. It ain’t hard.
