We need a basic income, then additions for everything you do.
Get up before 9am? bonus
Take a shower? bonus
Watch MSNBC or CNN? bonus
Turn in a neighbor for too many at a gathering? bonus
and on and on.

Does any of this make sense, when we allow so many millions of immigrants into this country? And millions more come in illegally? We are not facing declining population.

Stop all immigration. All. Then wages and opportunities will go up for young people. It is that simple.

Any society with below replacement level fertility is rotten. Any socialist society is rotten. You get me high fertility and low socialism and I am on board.

Why would anyone want a country of babies that were conceived for money instead of a nation of babies conceived in love? People, mostly, Lesbians, are already conceiving babies through artificial means. Is this what we want? A nation of paid for babies and babies with no fathers?

Nice idea, but it doesn’t work.
A number of Euroweenie nations (notably Germany) have tried this to no avail.
I wonder if reverse psychology might work - make kids a luxury item that requires fees and papers?

The majority of women in the United States having babies are not married. An incentive to get married and stay married is a good thing.
To: Kaslin
The very last thing Democrats want is married people making more babies.
The next-to-last thing Democrats want is people getting married.

"Instead, Pay Married People To Have More Babies"
Democrats have been fighting such attempts for generations and trying to give preferences to singles instead. Divide and conquer.
