Yes, only greatly accelerated. There appears to be no turning back from the brink and no imminent salvation. Even eight years of Trump would have merely been a finger in the dike holding off the deluge a little while longer.

Days ago there were a few people assuring it was still going to happen.
Not without a whole lot of Divine intervention, IMHO.
