Rush took last caller’s question/statement to mention death of Hank Aaron at 86. Two weeks prior [Jan 5] Hank Aaron took the first of 2 Moderna vaccinations. Rush said there are no reports indicating the cause of his death.

Thanks for posting that, thouworm. My radio station (WTIC 1080 AM) cut off the beginning of what Rush said, so I missed it.
Rush just mentioned sometimes he has had to "go off treatment" temporarily at times. He sounded so gloriously energetic and "normal" this week. I wonder if he was temporarily off his treatment this week?

Sorry Rush & Rush fans but this week was abysmal. Weak tea.
Biden usurped the presidency and Rush sounds like Grandpa Jones sitting on the porch swing telling stories of his youth on the riverbank.
He was all over the shop. I understand fully his health plight but if ever there was a time for principled objection and criticism this is it.
It’s understandable he has become more contemplative with his 70th birthday but we are fighting for our lives here.
Tell ya what: we will give you stage IV lung cancer, in its final stages; give you months of chemo; and have you generally feel like s&*t.....and we will see how you do.
Rush is learning there is more to life than entertaining his listeners. He clearly doesn’t give a hoot and is playing out the clock. Cut him some slack.

But the rest of your post is fair enough. If he isn’t feeling up to the job then I do hope he makes the most of his days. I know he says he would rather be on the radio than do anything else but many people have retired, had a period of adjustment, then decided they prefer retirement much more.
You were commenting on “how” he should be performing. I was merely suggesting you step into his shoes and do a better job. I don’t think you’d make it to the first break.
