An influential pro-Trump discussion board active in the buildup to the Jan. 6 Capitol attack faces the prospect of being shut down by its web-hosting company for allegedly fostering white supremacist and violent extremism.
Robert Davis, senior vice president of Epik Inc., told The Wall Street Journal his firm warned TheDonald.Win it might be dropped within days if it fails to better cull what he said are discussions glorifying violence, propagating white supremacy and fomenting extremism.
“They need to recognize the critical role they play as an inspirational place rather than a hotbed of extremism,” Mr. Davis said. “Epik has no tolerance for anything that incites hate or violence.” If the site didn’t fix the problem speedily, he added, “they’re gone from Epik and it will be hard for them to get service anywhere.”

You’re correct. I used to hangout on a small old php board that was an offshoot of another place. There was some ongoing battle between the gays and the guys. So the gays would spam gay porn in the middle of the night or even chile pron, then file complaints with the hosting service to cause a takedown. The Left has a collective emotional age of 12.
No Doubt - Leftists spam conservative sites with violent agitation etc. just so they can complain to hosting services to try to effect a board shutdown. Who pays them?

The difference is that if you’re ANTIFA/BLM and the FBI catches you making threats, they will leave you alone. If you’re “right wing”, they will throw the book on you. Which means prison up to 10 years. The FBI folks are not our friends. One of the best moves that Trump did during his presidency was to fire Comey on the spot. Sadly that was insufficient, he needed to do much more to take on the “Deep State”.

Unless it’s the simplest of websites, such a move is not always possible without a lot technical pain. Different php versions and modules, plug-in support, different cpanel implementations, exporting shit-tons of sql tables, any micro-services used etc...
