the smelly Walmart shoppersHaving sniffed my armpits like a BMOC getting ready for a big date, I can't say I detect any unusual aroma, despite being a Wally World regular. Of course, my sense of smell may be dead from being around so many smelly Walmart shoppers, much like a garbage collector thinks three-day old garbage smells just lovely.

I shopped Wally and Safeway this week.
Both stores had normal traffic, however, the shelves were not fully stocked.
You could tell the significant canned good and frozen goods had been well picked over, down to store brands only in some sections.
We have had issues in the past with people coming from Castle Rock and Parker because of poor supply in their own towns.
No Fresca to be found.๐ฉ

I had to quit bathing when the pond froze over. But come spring I’ll really scrub up good.

I went in Walmart yesterday and the grocery shelves were about half empty. All of the bottled water was gone.

Did I imagine that the door greeters
have evolved into face mask managers
the other day? Sold out of any of the
inexpensive size undergarment I wear.
Every other size and design was there
in ample quantities.

The Walmart Supercenter in the small city I live in, in central New York State, was closed this past Wednesday at 2 p.m. until Friday at 7 a.m., they claim for cleaning and stocking. I found that interesting, because for at least the past three years, the store has never had their shelves stocked, the virus having nothing to do with it. Every time I go to this Walmart, I always feel like they are having a going-out-of-business sale. Yet, if I go to the Walmart about a half-hour from me, I can usually find the stuff my local Walmart doesn’t have. Not that the shelves are brimming with products, but it’s a hell of a lot better than the one here. I don’t understand it.
