As the FBI continues to arrest dozens of people allegedly involved in the Capitol Building riot earlier this month ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, it was just four years ago when similar rioting took place throughout Washington, D.C., as newly-inaugurated President Donald Trump began his term.
Only then, instead of right-wing protesters, it was a riot dominated by supporters of anarchist groups like Antifa and left-wing organizations including Black Lives Matter.
Video footage that was taken the morning of Trump’s inaugural shows black-clad mobs occupying streets, smashing storefront windows, attacking police officers, overturning trash cans, and generally causing mayhem in protest of what they perceived as a stolen election.
Reports at the time noted that more than 214 people were indicted on felony rioting charges.

That’s it, it was a “mostly peaceful” riot.
Not to mention the Swift Boaters, they learned their lesson and weren't going to allow that to happen ever again. And now that they've proven it works, next they will do the same to anyone who denies Climate Change.

We were able to communicate without social media during Bush era. Now in Biden Administration, we’ll have to do the same. If you haven’t done so already, deactivate your accounts on Facebook and Twitter. The Left can have their own echo chambers. They’ll eventually get bored with it lol.
They should have been shot by the ordinary people whose lives, persons or property they threatened.

Can we at least be fair, there was rioting and there were fires set in cities across the country, in some cities the local city management decided to in my opinion encourage this behavior.
However when these people started messing with federal buildings they got arrested, and prosecuted. One or two mayors had got upset cause the federal govt was protecting its property.
I do not see much difference in the treatment.

I was waiting in line to get into a federal building and some sandwich delivery guy with the shirt and everything had 2 big bags of sandwiches he goes up to security and says lunch for Karen in c-312 they go sure thing, can we see your id, they scanned it and immediately cuffed him up cause he had a warrant..

We live in a corrupt nation now and probably have for some time. I don’t think many of us realized or accepted that until now. TRUMP being elected was an aberration, and it won’t happen again. The firewalls for that will be finalized in the next couple years.

This “uneasy in my easy chair” posture many of them are provisionally feeling may fade fast in the first year of Biden/Harris, as it already looks like they’re having no probl
em putting the Cancel Culture on mega-steroids. Also the Dems/MSM have given a shot in the arm to their designs by managing to brand the Capital Bldg. event as strictly caused by Trump supporters, who then can be branded as “domestic terrorists”. The success of this branding opens up a lot of opportunities for oppression by them. Against us.And all of the proceeding was “Just for openers”.
In a town close by me a bunch of Antifa people showed up and met armed citizens patrolling the street protecting businesses - they ran away.
On top of that this writer’s second paragraph keeps promulgating the myth that Jan 6 was all Trump supporters, hence making it easier to play into the hands of the Dems, when in fact it was instigated and effectively LED by the same people who did it all summer across America, and also at Trump’s first inauguration. Same people, and they announced publicly they were gonna do it.
