Wow. I guess Wayne will need some new suits for the hot Texas weather?

Will $200,000 cover it? The board can give him more you know because suits are really expensive and hard to afford for a person making over a million bucks a year and all those “expense accounts and travel expenses” might not cover the threads.

Got to have those nice suits to protect the 2nd Amendment, ya know?

“No major changes are expected to the NRA’s operations or workforce.”

That’s a problem.

Not quite sure I understand the implication here. Is New York where they are incorporated? I thought they were headquartered in Chantilley Virginia. Is this just a paper move?

No executive making $500K a year...or making fact finding trips to South Pacific islands.

I love the idea of the NRA, which is what its defenders always describe when they are faced with the disturbing truth of what it really is. And dear friends it is not the man’s suits! Why we would gladly dress him like a pentecostal televangelist if he would fight for our rights.

Wayne LaPierre must go.

Most of those of us commenting from Republican states like and understand the NRA. I’ve noticed that quite a few people posting comments from blue states don’t like the NRA at all.

The NRA has an enormous number of organizations, businesses, governments, billionaires and other individuals arrayed against it. It is effectively our only organizational protection from violations of our Second Amendment and does a super job. There are very few people on the planet who can do that particular specialized work and do it so well.

I’ll pay for the best for that. Top officers/executives of other organizations and global corporations receive no less for far less effort and experience in return.

If the NRA weren’t so effective and worth our support, the leftists of so many countries would not treat the NRA as their sole target.

Why Twitter paid CEO Jack Dorsey just $1.40 last year
The Washington Post
By Jena McGregor
April 9, 2019 at 5:29 p.m. UTC
https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/04/09/why-twitter-paid-ceo-jack-dorsey-just-last-year/

“But another 37 of those 91 CEOs still received compensation valued at more than $1 million — and 10 at more than $10 million — typically in new stock awards or options granted in the most recent year. Kinder Morgan CEO Steven Kean had a $1 base salary in 2018, but received stock awards valued at $16 million that vest over a three-year period. CEO Richard Fairbank, the founder and CEO of Capital One Financial, was paid no base salary in 2018, but received a $4.2 million bonus and stock awards valued at nearly $13 million. The company’s proxy notes that 100 percent of his compensation is deferred for a three-year period.”

Wayne la pierce is joining Elon Musk and many others in what I like to call, The Davy Crockett movement, simultaneously flipping the bird to repressive states and moving to greener pastures.
