We didn’t get squat: No direct deposit; no paper check; no EIP card. Nada. Zilch. We went on the IRS site and we were told a stimulus payment was “NOT AVAILABLE,” and that we would have to request it as a credit when we file our 2020 taxes, if applicable. We are seniors and are retired, so we do not fall within the income exclusionary zone. Perhaps it is because we are registered Republicans, and have been CANCELED by Deep State. It would not at all surprise me.
Clearly you will want one “official” bank account where you keep a very low balance....
Then folks might have to start acting like the rich (including criminals—including politicians :-) ) —set up shell corporations under the names of relatives (or others you pay for that purpose) to do banking transactions you don’t want tracked.
Many “prepper” sites have long advocated using shell corporations for all significant transactions.
For most folks it just was not worth the bother—that may change.

Travel to the seedier part of town and cash it out like the EBT Crowd does; then you can buy your cigs and MD2020! ;)
