Because it would have exposed the Big Steal and since both parties were in on it, it became a matter of survival for both of them that any mention of vote fraud must be crushed.

At the same time, President Trump shoulders some of the blame for going after Georgia Republicans more than the Democrats

Townhall is full of establishment neocon pieces of schiff. Just maybe if the Republican GA Governor and Republican Sec. of State did their f'ing jobs things would be different. But Republicans didn't do anything about election fraud. #ExitGOP

I am not surprised to see that Republican voters stayed home on January 5th after being stabbed in the back by the Leftist Republican Governor and his comrades.

“Having crappy candidates sure didn’t help matters.”

Yeah, that was sure in the mix, too.

Over 75,000.000 voters say yes to votes actually counted.

"[ Report Abuse | Bookmark ] Guess I won't be holding my breath for the next fair and honest elections. Seems like, in a lot of instances, the country has gone from AmeriCANs to AmeriCAN'Ts. Sad days with a lot of anti Americans in control. The majority of which have ZERO clue how well off they are. If the conservatives and Trump were who they claim, they wouldn't be around to make those claims. Unlimited dumbassery. Welcome to Dumbassistan."

Your backstabbing Republican Party and it's horrible candidates who would not campaign against the election fraud disgusted enough Republican votes so they effectively gave them middle finger rktman. The GOP refused to earn those voted. I say that the Republican voters of Georgia were smart to do so and shaft McConnell.

Look at how the BushBot Republican leadership like Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, and Liz Cheney are bootlicking their leftist masters. it is disgusting.

What we are witnessing is the unmasking of the deep state Uniparty and the political death of its Republican Party wing due to its backstabbing of its base for over 50 years. I shall not miss the GOP because the deceived us and blunted our actions. Time for a new party.

there was a massive dip in Republican voter turnout

I doubt Lin Wood is to blame. We are running lousy candidates, Loeffler? really, then she turned on Trump afterwards? People were generally disgusted by the fraud, lots of people are Trump supporters, not Loeffler/Purdue supporters. This is going to be eye opening for the RNC campaigns in 2022 if they don't start acting like conservatives and especially if they abandon Trump.

Townhall rag gotta Townhall rag - and blame Trump or his supporters.

If you want to cast blame, it's your POS GOP candidates and the corrupt GOP machine that let Stacey Abram's ballot stuffing continue at will.

Neither establishment candidate supported Trump in his fight fair the vote in GA. Loeffler was a Wall St. tw*t who stabbed him in the back after she lost.

GOP voters stayed home because they realize their vote doesn’t matter because of the rampant, in your face fraud. The GOP at the National and STATE levels should have gone all in FOR THE RULE OF LAW...FOR TRUMP and AGAINST FRAUD and overturned this fraudulent election. The GOP State Legislatures could have fixed this BEFORE the election by preventing the massive cheat by mail effort that was clearly against the state constitutions, as well as refused to accept the fraudulent Biden electors after the election. Instead, they turtled and ran both times. THIS is why the voters stayed home during the GA Senate Election.
The feckless, cowardly GOP is the ONLY one to blame for this. If they won’t fight for their voters, the voters will NOT lift a finger to elect them. When massive vote fraud has been perfected and is the standard now, encouraging ‘get out the vote’ is worthless. The GOP is just as complicit in this fraud as the demorats. Civil War II has officially begun. It has been building for a LONG time. The Rule of Law and hence the Republic is now dead so voting doesn’t matter. Only force matters in the law of the jungle. Time to go underground. Overt and covert resistance is the only way forward now until the corrupt system completely collapses under it’s own weight. You can’t fix a rotten structure. You have to tear it down and start over. Plan accordingly.

Immigration, migration from blue states, massive indoctrination in our universities and the non-stop propaganda and collusion of the corporate media had a lot to do with it. There’s NO WAY these ass-clowns could have won Georgia 20 years ago.

Gosh—Maybe the GOP establishment at all levels cr@pping on its base wasn’t such a good idea after all.

Oh, Sidney Powell too. Still waiting for that ‘kraken,’ or was it shot by mistake when the ‘CIA’ were in a ‘shootout’ with ‘Delta Force’ in Frankfurt!?!?

Kraken is kaput. I can't believe I listened to that poop.

The base is tired of hearing things like, just give us this one, give us Loeffler, and we'll fight back. They had Congress for 2 years and fought Trump every step of the way, they are unworthy.

That isn’t going to happen. I think a better justification for stocking up on things is that inflation (particularly food inflation) is about to jump dramatically.

The Republican Party has no one to blame but themselves.

They wanted Donald J. Trump gone, and they got exactly what they wished for, and even conspired with Democrats to ensure it would happen.

Now the Democrats can come after the Republicans with impunity.

The double moral of the story is, be careful what you wish for, and never piss of your base that is comprised of over 75 million people

Thanks GOPe, for absolutely nothing, as usual.
