That ought to represent a big windfall for the Social Security fund, right? Fewer unproductive old folks collecting benefits...
Right?
Regards,
In other news, the Biden administration announced today that the date for social security eligibility to be raised to 77.48.
I’d bet on their VACCINE shortening lifespans.
Had the Covid; it is NOT the plague.
Covid 19 coupled with economic collapse and the Chicoms making the Yuan as World Reserve Currency will take it’s toll on society world wide.
What is described is culling the herd
Those unhealthy will die sooner freeing up social security and medicare funds
They needed a study for that.
What shortens life expectancies is an entire generation of children now who are being formed in a dystopian environment. Everything from infants who don’t see smiles on strangers in stores to toddlers who are made to be afraid to breathe outside to youngsters and adolescents who will fail to develop social skills and suffer increased isolation.
This will lead to substance abuse and in some cases suicides down the road. THAT is what will decrease “life expectancy”.
It took more than a few off my life.
I now have cracked glass lungs.
Wings? Don’t be an ass.
“COVID-19 will shorten American life expectancy, study shows”
Especially for the people that have died.
Driving a car will shorten the life expectancy at birth for Americans...
Swimming will shorten the life expectancy at birth for Americans...
Going to a hospital will shorten the life expectancy at birth for Americans...
Life expectancy at birth is a stupid statistic. They know nothing about the next 80 years. And if you probably aren’t dying for 80 years, why would you care who is dying at what age today?
On the other hand, average age of death now is more quantifiable. People who may die soon care about how long they may have. Old people and some young people are dying now. It seems to me that is a more valid idea of what to expect today.
Life expectancy is mainly affected by the death of the young. If 5% of 80-year-olds die 9 years (life expectancy at 80) early, that lowers life expectancy today by 0.45 years (5.4 months). But since CV19 kills very few young, applying that to future life expectancy assumes the disease will be just as deadly 80 years from now and that is stupid straight line thinking.
I thought the American life expectancy was already in decline before COVID due to obesity and opioid abuse.
