Just a hunch, if he had released all the dirt last year when we hoped he would . . . the dirty Dems might have found grounds for his impeachment.

And a few “national security” Republicans would have gone along.

Timing is critical in politics.

Timing will be one of those "matter of opinion" things, and is rarely perfect or optimum.

Congress has already improvidently endorsed a fraudulent election result. If it improvidently moves forward with inauguration the deal isn't carved in stone. Yes, inauguration works a profound change, but no move is irreversible.

Not meaning this as hopium, just a sterile fact of the matter is, things can get undone. Especially these days when there aren't any rules.

exactly, the horse has left the barn. Who in the Biteme admin will do a gdamn thing.

There may have been a chance back in say, 2016 that something could materialize in the way of arrests.
