The rioter who paraded around the Capitol building with a Confederate battle flag last week turned himself in to federal authorities in his home state of Delaware on Thursday, authorities said.
The suspect, Kevin Seefried, surrendered to US Marshals in Wilmington with his son Hunter, an FBI spokesperson said.
They are both expected to make an initial court appearance on federal charges that will be filed in Washington, the spokesperson added.
Seefried is suspected of walking around the Capitol building with the large Confederate flag after throngs of President Trump supporters stormed the building as Congress was meeting to certify Joe Biden’s electoral win.
The FBI released images of Seefried carrying the flag through the building earlier this week, asking the public to contact law enforcement if they knew his location and identity.

But BURNING the American flag is perfectly fine.
He has that tear drop tattoo, doesn’t that mean you killed someone?
“What was the charge?”
I don’t think you’ll appreciate this, but even though you’re right there is no crime for walking around anywhere with a flag, unless it can be construed as attempting insurrection.
But this is a grandstand play, as usual, because they will have to prove he was doing something, like carry the flag, to attack the federal government. Just another in a line of crimes that aren’t provable, but make the headlines to try to increase the public’s negative view of the incident. One that was incited by Trump (they say). All too often this is how liberals cheat.
This is right out of the Lib Playbook:
Saul Alinsky’s 12 Rules for Radicals
RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”
RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”
RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.”
RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”
RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
And RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”
Same brown stuff, different day.

Confederate flag? From Delaware? What, is he from South Delaware?
Yankee walks with Confederate flag.
Illegal Cross-dressing
Other than two counts of trespassing, what are the charges? Carrying a flag? The feds have lost their minds.
He will be charged with Sedition and will plea down to 10 years after he publicly confesses his sins against Big Brother.
It’s cultural appropriation!
As Biden once pointed out, Delaware was a slave state.
You should read more
But you’re sorta right
What was the charge?
Trespassing and Waving a Confederate Flag!!!
So the “Hunter” who carried a flag around on public property is being prosecuted, but the “Hunter” who takes millions from our adversaries is free and can live in the White House.
The article starts off by saying he carried a flag “around” the building. Idiotic, but legal I think. It later says he carried the flag “through” the building, so there could be a charge that he unlawfully entered the building.
The article isn’t terribly clear.
The FBI is nothing more than a communist apparatus of the state. Seems pretty obvious they only work when the targets are political enemies or a noose hoax where they hope to target political enemies.
getting separated from a tour group
Weird -I took over 100 pictures and videos of the event, and not one picture has a confederate flag in it –The only confederate flag I saw were in the faked pictures in the rotunda with the Viking guy and everybody wearing facemasks
All of the original states were slave states, including Massachusetts.
Delaware was a slave state, but like Kentucky, Maryland and Missouri they didn’t secede. Ironically DE was the last state to ratify the 13th amendment, in 1901
When you break in and wander around unauthorized areas then yeah. The most common charges for all these people seem to 'entering a restricted area', 'disorderly conduct', and 'violent entry'.
