Very true. I'm in MA, which is just a screwy place. I hope other states might be more aware, but I dunno. Around me, most people think the election was the cleanest ever, Trump is a total spoil sport, trying to now steal an election which everyone knows he lost, and he has gone so far as to gather a crowd of rabble-rousers in an effort to burn down the Capitol and take over the government.
If I try to present "the other side", they just scream at me because I get my news from dishonest sources.
“If I try to present “the other side”, they just scream at me because I get my news from dishonest sources.”
That’s everywhere. What I notice, from my own little sample here in the blue part of Ohio. Those that are conservative tend to be more informed. Liberals, and middle of the road types tend to rely on “The Evening News” as a trusted source.
In general, who can blame them? You work all day, you have family stuff going on, who has time to spend ferreting out the truth?
I’m in MA, also. Lifelong resident (planning to leave in a couple of years). For as long as I can remember, elections here have resembled we we are now seeing in other states.
Here, if an election is even remotely close:
1 - All military votes will be declared invalid, because they will arrive too late to be counted (someone will make sure of that).
2 - Enough hidden, or misplaced ballots will be found to ensure a victory for the anointed candidate. Usually in the basement of a school located in an under served community.
3 - The powers at be then declare that they have discovered an innocent error (if it’s a Democrat primary), or attempted foul play (if it’s R vs. D).
4 - They pat themselves on the back for running such a tight ship
5 - The press echoes the same, and the sheeple believe it.
