We are frighteningly headed to playing out a real life scenario of the classic Star Trek episode when Kirk and company fall into the middle of a war between the Yangs and the Coms. It is uncanny how today's events are mirroring the takeover of the United States by communist infiltration.
We conservatives who actually study history know full well what the communist and Nazi regimes did to acquire power. It all starts with the media and control over the information medium.
I will never forget the only thing I remember from my "Introduction to Mass Media" class in college. Marshall McCuen (Sp.) was credited with saying "The Medium is the Message".
While Conservatives were adamant about learning from history's mistakes, Liberals were intent on controlling and revising the recorded events in the minds of the young in order to obtain their goal of control over the masses.
We have now become the Yangs that will be imprisoned, fighting in the hills, afraid to speak out for fear of retaliation. Freedom will soon become a holy word that will be forbidden to be spoken except in our own circles. It will soon be termed as "insurrectionist" by all who oppose the principles our founding fathers put in place.

Suddenly, that episode makes a heck of a lot more sense.
Then again, it was likely several decades for the Yangs to devolve into the ragged, fur-wearing tribes they were in the show. And it'd take quite a bit to go from "We the People" to "E plebnista".
