Those are mostly state-regulated. Are you calling for state regulation of social media? If so, I will think about it in that light. I've already thought about federal and light touch has worked in the past and should work in the future.

In light touch the FTC and similar agencies stop the most aggregious practices of violations of privacy, unfair or deceptive practices. Some states decided to implement their own no-blocking and no-throttling regulations. I don't think that works with a global internet, but I am open to suggestions.
