House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Wednesday expressed opposition to the Democrats’ second impeachment effort against President Trump but, while condemning the “undemocratic, un-American, and criminal” protest that occurred at the U.S. Capitol, assessed that Trump “bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters.”

There are no “elections’ in USA any longer - only SELECTIONS - at least for president and SENs and some really contested REPs seats when a lot depends on it! Constitutional Republic is DEAD! I always thought McCarthy was an idiot when he said they did the Benghazi hearings to reduce Hillary Clinton’s numbers. They Dems beat that crap out of the doofus for saying that. Abused his committee power for admitted partisan purposes. He should have been ejected then, for blazing stupidity.

New Gingrich - started out strong with Contract for America, then let his ego get out of control. Bill Clinton outfoxed him and he lost support of his caucus. Resigned.
Bob Livingston- Newt’s replacement, imploded a few days after Newt’s departure when his adulterous affairs were publicized.
Dennis Hastert - The man who loved earmarks. The House controls the power of the purse and Hastert passed out the pork, most memorably the $200 million bridge to nowhere in Alaska. Plus he had a very serious affection for teen boys which resulted in him being extorted.
John Boehner - Hated the Tea Party that delivered the speakership to him in 2010 and teamed with Democrats to destroy the Tea Party. Loved being wined and dined by K street lobbyists but never could seem to get anything accomplished. Seemed afraid of Obama.
Paul Ryan - Boehner’s successor. Spent his time when Republicans held the House, Senate, and White House purposefully slow walking and thwarting every initiative of GOP President Trump. Plus loved to bad mouth Trump publicly in the press. Then did nothing during the 2018 Congressional campaign, handing the House to the Democrats.
Kevin McCarthy - Ryan’s successor. Another anti-Trumper creature of the swamp from California. Expect great things of Kevin.
By the way conservatives, we need to forgive and forget by the 2022 election. We need to vote GOP because they will do such a great job furthering the conservative agenda. /s
