But Big Tech isn’t as powerful as it seems. It’s vulnerable and it’s worried.

need a grass roots movement like it is an election

go door to door promoting big tech alternatives

DuckDuckgo
Brave browser
Gab

etc

This is how you lose your power.

First thing that came to mind.

“President Trump was the first GOP president to stop being a cheap corporate date. Republicans, even some in the MAGA class, are happy to trade favorable legislation for contributions with economic interests, from Big Tech to the media, that hate conservatives.”

Trump was the first to opt out of suicide by ideology, at least for the most part.

Leftists ARE totalitarians that wish to control everything, even the weather. Conservatives aren’t and don’t. The basic difference.

Game, set and match.

Oh, conservatives will have a few moments of victory (like Trump) but they will never be allowed to really change anything.

Like Bush41 & Bush43....we will have spineless leaders who pay some lip service to conservatism while doing nothing to limit the deep state.

Like Rubio, Cruz and Lee...we will have conservatives who sell out to big corporate donors serving the deep state.

I woke up this morning thinking that what I saw on an online group for needlecrafts (Ravelry) where conservative speech was erased a couple of years ago is where we are now across big parts of the online world. One can only hope that when there aren’t any conservatives around to hate, they will start eating their own. Hoping the pendulum starts swinging back eventually.

one takeaway from this is clear: AVOID SOCIAL MEDIA ALL TOGETHER

why risk your business or job because of a stupid post? It’s just the times we live in.

“The endgame here is eliminating conservatives as a meaningful political force in America.”

in other words, the endgame here is eliminating the USA as we’ve known it!

As I read it the author of this article propose fight back with the same fascistic tactics the left are employing, but this is antithetical to being a Conservative and violates Sun Tzu's "moral high ground" requirement for success.

We are not just not wired to be dishonest, nor to force people in to doing what they don't want to.

IMHO, at this point the only way forward is a separation from the left.

Enjoy Free Republic while you’ve got it.

It’s not an accident that the left is repeating the phrase “domestic terrorism”.

The Patriot Act will be used to strangle right wing discussion. Sites like FR will be put on a watch list of “terrorism supporters”, at which point companies will simply refuse to work with them.

• That PayPal button will become inoperative.
• Credit card companies will refuse to process payments.
• The bank will drop them; no other bank will open an account.

At that point, it will be impossible for them to even pay their vendors, much less raise money.

It’s already happening to Gab. Their only financial transactions are actual checks & bitcoin. The credit card companies have blacklisted them.

Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if the SPLC was already at work making a list. Why wait for the government? A list that corporations can use to cover themselves to insure no bureaucrat or activist group comes knocking asking why they are supporting “domestic terrorists”.

Controlling you by controlling your money is the ultimate form of suppression.

Actually, giving the Internet less information about us is a good thing right now. Money is power and advertisers are going NUTS right now as conservatives are a huge targeted market that they are losing by the millions.

Using browsers like the Gab Dissenter browser helps to prevent you being the product on the Internet. It protects you from tracking cookies advertisers use to track you going from one web site to another. This prevents them from being able to target you with targeted advertising, which is where the real money is on the Internet.

Erasure from the internet? Erasure from life more like the goal. If you haven’t had it cross your mind, you are kidding yourself.
