Well, just who in the heck else did we have at that time to lead the charge? Algore? Who did you vote for at that time, or were you of voting age at that time? Even so, why are you trying to make fellow FReepers cringe over our lack of talent to support at that time? Do you think that is helpful to morale or something... what???

I see your point but I don’t think this is about President Trump. This is about us. Letting us know that resistance is futile and you will obey

Otherwise you’ll be destroyed. If they can go after the most powerful man on the planet what can they do to us.

Get then all on record, let them commit the unconstitutional act then drop the hammer.

Maga 3’rd party primary focus. 70 million strong. Even if elections no longer have consequences. They will know we were there.

Remember when many Freepers practically worshipped Bush AND Cheney?

Remember when we like had a choice? Remeber when Nixon won in a landslide? Remember when Bush Sr. was elected? Remember when we nominated Dole, McCain & Romney. Sometime you have to take the ugly sister and say she is beautiful so you don’t hurt her feelings.

It is a mistake to attribute her actions to stupidity. Everyone knows the narrative of Trump inciting violence is false. Liz Cheney knows it and is pushing the false narrative on purpose.

Called her Office to let her know IF she goes along with impeachment of Pres Trump, she’s not ‘getting rid’ of Trump, she’s killing the Republican Party! I know registered GOP who plan to change to Independent or Conservative. Disgraceful.

I think everyone on our side regardless of location needs to vow right now that we will support any pro-Trump primary challenger for any RINO who votes for impeachment or who even says they are considering it. Even if we are in different districts and states, we need to give money to and if possible volunteer for their primary challengers. It will be hard for them to survive politically when a good chunk of 74 million work against them if we stick together.

I would never under any circumstances vote for one of the Authoritarian Democrats, but conservatives in their districts should refuse to vote for them if we can’t knock them out in the primaries. I’d suggest writing in the name Donald Trump.

In the meanwhile I think we need to demand that the RNC denounce their actions and withhold funds from them in the future if they insist on pretending they are still Republicans. Nothing will probably happen but at least more of the establishment types will understand the mass exodus out of the party and know they had a chance to try to slow or stop it.

All you get for supporting the GOP is a knife in the back and being insulted as you bleed out.

I am done with the GOP.

were you one of the Bush-Cheney worshippers?

Freepers didn’t say “we have no choice”, they said “these guys are great and anybody who criticizes them is a surrender monkey”

I voted for Bush in 2000. After he invaded Iraq and opened the borders, I stopped voting Republican at the presidential level. Until Trump in 3016. So I didn’t vote for Bush in 2004, or McCain in 2008 or Romney in 2012. They all supported endless war. Romney wasn’t so bad on border issues, but another endless war guy on foreign policy.

I’m curious not about Liz Cheney’s opinion, clearly she’s an idiot, but I am curious if her opinion is echoed by Dick Cheney or if he’s just being very quiet.

I plan to reregister as a Republican to vote against the incumbent in the 2022 primaries and then I will reregister as an Independent. In the general election I might vote for a Republican that has defeated an incumbent but I will not vote for any incumbent Republicans - period.

Being in AZ I will vote against st the retention of any sitting judge.

This is imperative for the fraud Joe Biden’s MANDATE, The same Joe who won the most votes ever, the same Joe who swept the electoral college, The more Republicans they bring on board, the easier they can hide the fact that Joe won nothing. When they start implementing their radical anti-American agenda, they can call it a MANDATE with bipartisan agreement. HILLARY was their true last chance of calling a radical Obama mandate with her win. We know what happened there.
