Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell 'is done' and 'furious' with President Trump a source familiar confirmed to Fox News.
The source told Fox News that McConnell has shared with associates that impeachment will help rid the Republican Party of Trump and his movement.
It is unclear how McConnell would vote in an impeachment trial, should House Democrats vote to impeach Trump. It is not clear at this point whether McConnell would vote to convict.
Meanwhile, other sources told Fox News that there is "no love lost there."
Part of McConnell’s anger, according to sources, is that the Senate Majority was lost to the Democrats just last Tuesday in the Georgia Senate runoffs, but sources said that McConnell is extremely upset about the president’s actions Wednesday leading up to the riot at the Capitol......."

Well, he’s a Senator first and foremost. He belongs to the same club as Biden and Harris. And he took this event as a direct attack on HIS club, his people, his friends.
Trump needs to start a third party if for nothing else but to ensure the GOP’s defeat. After several rounds of defeat anyone with any political ambition will leave the GOP and join the new party *under the terms of the new party*

He’s one of a group of Republicans who think that if they suck up to the Dems, their masters will let them continue to play senator or congressman as part of their two-party charade. This is the perfect time to start a third party organized by Trump and associates. Voters who are eager to leave the democratic party but are poisoned by pop culture saying Republicans are evil may be interested in a new brand. I don’t know what to call it...maybe the screwed over citizens party
