Gun manufacturer Colt, an American legend and Connecticut fixture for nearly 175 years, could come under European ownership in a deal being negotiated with a Czech firearms company.
Česká zbrojovka Group SE, or CZG, which is negotiating to purchase Colt Holding Co., said it has reached agreement on the outlines of a deal with the West Hartford gun manufacturer.

I’m ok with this if they triple capacity or if a white knight emerges.
CZ is an excellent weapons manufacturer
CZ makes great guns, hopefully if it goes through they can help bring Colt back.
Its better than being shutdown altogether or bought by china.
Should be kicked to the gutter by the Gubbermint. 👎😫

Biden to block imports of guns in 3..2..1
Excellent fit and finish. Superior quality control.
Anything to get Democrat liberals out of our gun business is GOOD!
CZ might want to get Colt totally out of CT if it isn’t already. CT isn’t exactly free-enterprise friendly. In fact, the state isn’t all that friendly to people who live there.
Czechs are basically mean Germans
They made great stuff with a snarl
Hopefully they can bring Colt’s quality back up to snuff. It will be interesting to see how they integrate the Colt Gov’t models into the line as CZ-USA already owns Dan Wesson and produces some very nice, high end 1911A1 based platforms.

Can you capture what you see or tell us what app or page you see it on.
Maybe even post an image of it here in the thread.
Thanks.
I own a CZ 75 SP-01. Fine gun. If CZ can bring that kind of quality to Colt, awesome.
CZ is where it is at.
