Fired Cybersecurity Official’s Unsettling Prediction About America After Trump “We’re on the verge of what I fear to be a pretty significant breakdown in democracy and civil society,” said Chris Krebs.

Chris Krebs, former U.S. cybersecurity chief , warned it will take years to erase the disinformation spread by President Trump throughout his presidency that last week incited insurrectionists to storm the U.S. Capitol.

“We’re on the verge of what I fear to be a pretty significant breakdown in democracy and civil society,” said Krebs. The FBI has warned of violent demonstrations nationwide in the days leading up to Joe Biden’s inauguration.

“This is the equivalent of ignoring pain in your chest for a couple weeks and then all of a sudden you have a catastrophic heart attack,” Krebs said “We’re on the verge of what I fear to be a pretty significant breakdown in democracy and civil society here.”

He said he hoped top law enforcement officials would step up to quell potential insurrection efforts but warned the damage would not end with Trump’s presidency.

″Over the next couple years, we have to continue chipping away at the disinformation and the propaganda and the lies that have been spread over the last several years to generate and motivate and incite these actors.”

“The narrative’s been set, it’s been ingrained,” he added. “I’m sure the president will continue to claim that the election was stolen, whether for fundraising opportunities or just to shield his ego.”

He said Trump was responsible and would ultimately have to take responsibility.

”I see the District of Columbia attorney general is looking at criminal charges. That is part of the toolkit that the next administration, that others will have to employ here to get some semblance of order back into the mainstream.”

Krebs was fired via tweet by Trump in November after the Department of Homeland Security office he led, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, said it found no evidence of significant electoral fraud.

Your Cheating, law-breaking, and suspension of civil/voting rights has left us without a Constitution.

This is the jerk who claimed we just had the most secure election in our history, only to have it revealed a week after he lost his job that the US government, including the Treasury and Defense Departments, had been massively hacked by some foreign power during the last year - on his watch - excuse me if I couldn’t care less about anything he has to say......

So much garbage within the executive branch so late into Trump’s presidency. It’s one thing to want to drain the swamp, but when it turns out the entire federal government is pure swamp, there’s only so much that can be done in four years.

The 2020 Antifa and Black Lives MatterTM demonstrations are going to pale to the lawbreaking when the Left realizes they've been had and Gropey Joe can't deliver on false promises.

As for the Right, expect a lot of John Galt walking away.

Two contracts have been broken beyond repair; the false one presented to the Left that they were going to get all their impossible demands, and the contract with the Right that the were represented by their government. Now neither side will listen to anyone in government or their media propaganda machines.

He's right.

That what usually happens when one side commits massive voter fraud, steals an election, and initiates a coup.

He had one job - to ensure election security against cyber threats. It would have been easy. Paper ballots.

It’s such a simple tactic: take the truth and flip it to blame the good guys for what the bad guys have done.

Russiagate is at thee root of a lot of it. With Russiagate you had the breakdown of trust in all our major institutions we used to turn to for truth. This collapse of trust created a vacuum to be filled by Q.
Barr had a chance to fix it and he failed.

The urban ferals and radical leftists are not going to get what they demand and will destroy the cities

The summer of ‘21 will be the Summer of discontent with rioting and serious wealth redistribution via looting and pillaging. Cities will be burned, not just easy to geet main drag businesses, but cities.

The Biden administration will loose control.

“There will be no break-down in Democracy whatsoever.”

With universal suffrage and vote-by-every conceivable means, combined with zero legal supervision, we are already at the mob rule stage of anacyclosis. Too much democracy.

No nation or empire has escaped it in all of human history.

“Our Founding Fathers fought for Freedom they had never had. We, are losing Freedoms we’ve come to cherish.
Who has more motivation.”

That’s a good question, and one that has been the focus of many a philosophical discussion among me and some friends around a camp fire, oh, so many years ago.

“PDJT did so many things so well... hiring practices and getting good people wasn’t one of them. What rock do these people crawl out from?”

The Deep State told him that if he did not appoint people the DS approved of, they would not be confirmed. The DS is a monstrous, corrupt, evil juggernaut. It is EXACTLY what the Founders warned against.

Yep. Trump was surrounded by back stabbing, opportunistic saboteurs at every turn. DC is not a swamp. It’s a brothel.

Conservatives, you can learn more about computers, networks and security, if you try. Do it for your country.

Install Linux, and start reading the documentation and experimenting with the system. Some of you brighter people could install NetBSD and do the same. It’s very likely that NetBSD is the system that some of the Russians have been whipping systems in the West with. I say this because of their interest in the system nearly 20 years ago and since and read an article about how the NetBSD OS was used in some of their government offices.

OpenBSD, a NetBSD variant that forked for enhanced security, has been used and further developed in labs of military contractors here, in the States.

Those systems are free, people, and they are now easy to install, use, and come with extremely large numbers of free packages (applications, programs). Install one, and you’ll very soon have an economic and security advantage in your own community. You’ll have more free time (fewer computer problems).
