If by “creed” you mean religious beliefs, then terminating an employee for his or her creed is illegal employment discrimination. If, on the other hand, by “creed” you mean something posted on social media that an employer deems to be harmful to the brand or reputation of the company, then terminating that employee is not illegal. You and I might not like that or other manifestations of the “cancel culture,” but it is not illegal. We have the choice of boycotting that company’s products and urging others do do so as well.
Right. He let the cat out of the bag. Mustn’t do that or the people will get wise.
