A West Virginia senator who traveled to the rally that turned into a riot in Washington, D.C., last week said he hopes to be summoned back.
“The rally was something that our president called for,” said Senator Mike Azinger, R-Wood. “I didn’t necessarily want to make that long trip and stay out in the cold. I didn’t necessarily want to put myself through that. I’d rather watch on TV, but there’s a time where we all have to make a little bit of sacrifice. Our president called us to D.C.”
Azinger concluded, “It was inspiring to be there and I hope he calls us back.”
The mob storming the U.S. Capitol disrupted the constitutional duty of counting Electoral College votes and prompted the evacuations of representatives, senators and Vice President Mike Pence. One woman was fatally shot while trying to climb into the chambers, three others died from “medical emergencies” and 50 police officers were injured. Capitol Police announced one police officer died of injuries sustained during the riot.
Video has shown some members of the mob chanting “Hang Mike Pence.”
The FBI today issued a bulletin warning of armed protests at the U.S. Capitol and in all 50 states in upcoming days.
“The FBI received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC on 16 January,” the bulletin stated, according to ABC News. “They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment, a huge uprising will occur.”
Claims that fraudulent voting resulted in an electoral victory for Democrat Joe Biden have been knocked down repeatedly. But Azinger on statewide radio today repeated the claim.
Azinger suggested a response can not wait until the next opportunity for citizens to vote.
“This is why it’s so crucial that we stand up now and make a point that this election was stolen. It’s self-evident to me. This election was stolen,” he said on MetroNews’ “Talkline. “Everybody knows it was stolen and we’ve got to stand up right now because I don’t think we have until 2022.”

Sort of - except it still doesn’t escape me that the entire DNC and a good chunk of the government last summer said protesting and rioting and destruction was good and noble for their “cause”
Trump supporters should stay the heck away from any state capitol or Washington DC.

Their back accounts and the titles are way too important. They’re not being played. They’re part of then operation.
They’re just trying to say the right stuff to appease 74,000,000....although I firmly believe the number was at least 90-100,000,000.
Rather than protests. Rather than ridiculous armed occupations of state capitols which is just an invitation for ANTIFA/BLM to turn it into a disaster,
do the one thing that hurts them all.

From the lowest level as high as you can go. City councils, school boards, county commissions, state legislators. Let them show us what they did to protect the vote and not allow Stacy Abrams and the other corrupt SOSs, AGs, Governors, courts to destroy our elections.
No need for ARs, yet. That only strengthens the Lefts call for more control.
The Left wants a cancel culture, use its playbook and ram it down their throat.
And when we’re done at that level make a public proclamation, with petitions to support it, that NOT ONE SINGLE REPUBLICAN SENATOR OR HOUSE MEMBER is welcome back in their state. And ask for their resignations. That is, unless they went to the mat for us and the President and are still holding fast today. Ergo, Cruz and the few others that objected, that are now caving......F*CK THEM AND THE HORSES THEY RODE IN ON.
Refusing to look at clear evidence and censoring all discussion of it is not the same as being "knocked down repeatedly."
Legitimate elections generally do not involve massive 3 am ballot dumps, independent observers being dismissed, reporting going off-line and censorship of all discussion.
Anybody remember how endlessly Florida was discussed in 2000? Or the fact that the media actually paid for all recount results? Does anyone remember the actual results? Probably not because the media pushing the narrative refused to report what they found --- Bush actually won Florida by more than 18,000 votes rather than the less than 600 in official reports.
I would like to see a ghost town in inauguration day - Washington, DC. - no one to be seen but the media, National Guard and police. Also jam the airways so no one can hear the phony president nor his gang of misfits on TV or radio.
