The Trump administration is asking states to speed delivery of COVID-19 vaccines to people older than 65 and others at high risk by no longer holding back the second dose of the two-dose shots, The Associated Press has learned.
The Centers for Disease Control is expected to recommend opening up vaccines to everyone older than 65 and to get the vaccines to more people by not holding back the second vaccine dose. That’s according to a Trump administration official familiar with the decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity ahead of an announcement.
States determine who should get the vaccine based on CDC guidelines.
President-elect Joe Biden is expected to give a speech Thursday outlining his plan to speed vaccines to more people in the first part of his administration. His transition team has vowed to release as many vaccine doses as possible, rather than continuing the Trump administration policy of holding back millions of doses to ensure there would be enough supply to allow those getting the first shot to get a second one.

I’m scheduled for dose 2 next week.
The first dose has already been a cluster F#$k Trump got the vaccines out to all the states in record time and the damn states can’t even administer them without ending up throwing 30% of them away, unbelievable!!!
Trump should have kept distribution federal. Perhaps using the Army. National Guard needs to have a strong medical component staffed by doctors and nurses.
In the middle of is characterized as a pandemic so serious that we need to destroy and then reset the entire worlds economies and radically modify peoples individual behavior, we cannot even distribute the life saving vaccine that is the solution to the crisis in an efficient and timely manner.
And yet we were able to do amazingly efficient mass vaccination programs in the 1940's ,50's and 60's for killer disease like polio, diphtheria, measles, small pox and others with only a small fraction of the technology we now have available.
What does that mean? Not hold back the second dose? Are they suggesting that you get both doses at the same time? That makes no sense.
The logistics for getting the second shot for the CCP Bat Virus will be a cluster-blank.

Not only that, but it appears the 2nd shot is the one that tends to trigger negative side effects. Two PAs in the family and this is what they are seeing (& warning each other about) among the hospital staff. A relative of mine actually took the day off in the event she couldn’t go to work due to getting the 2nd shot. They’re getting the Pfizer vaccine.

When they give you a first shot, they hold back for use the second one till the first month or so goes by. So, while they technically have a large inventory, the inventory includes those set aside for the second shot.
Today’s AP/Florida press attack on Gov DeSantis had this hidden in the report about unused vaccines.
“I’m scheduled for dose 2 next week.”
Is that the one that changes your DNA and turns you in to a Venusian Wharf rat?
AP already running cover for Biden who wants to release all the vaccine. These states, like New York, with their goofball plans, are throwing out vaccine they already have because they can’t vaccinate quickly enough. So, when even more vaccine goes bad, they will just say the states requested it.
Looks to me that a lot of the smaller, red states are doing a better job of getting the vaccine out to be that want/need it - whereas larger blue states, on average, have distributed a much small % of what they were allocated - gee, wonder if blue states are deliberately slowing the process down until after the inauguration, so that Biden gets all the credit for ‘getting the vaccine out’.
Shouldn’t be a shock, democrats are always willing to let vulnerable people die if it means furthering their political agendas.
I think it just amplifies the super mutant powers I got from dose 1.
