I agree. It seems to still NOT be sinking in to some people - especially the GOP. In fact, I can’t even imagine a scenario where things return to normal (from a voting perspective).
Giuliani would likely tell them to make his day.

There are many more creative ways to withdraw from the system without leaving yourself completely at their mercy.

Really? An indictment from Pelosi without a conviction from the Senate makes him ineligible to run in 2024? Are you sure about this?
If that were true, they wouldn’t need to do it again since they’ve already impeached him once.
I don’t believe impeachment + removal can keep Trump from running again for any office, though he would probably be better as an outside force at that point. Only if Trump is convicted of a criminal offense, or treason, can he be prevented from running for office. Pragmatically, though it wouldn’t be possible once the 30 million new democrats are christened by 2022.
But there’s so many of us. They can’t hurt us all.
It is that precise attitude that stopped thepresident’s plans to lay out the case for fraud dead in its tracks. We are not going to have a hot war. We have to outsmart them. Don’t tell me they can’t be outsmarted. They’re damn fools.

Trump should schedule a prime time speech and leak to the media that he will resign. Then, in the speech announce that he is resigning from the REPUBLICAN PARTY. That would be the death knell of the GOP in one fell swoop.

If a whole slew of Communists had been indicted in October,
Trump would have won and the nation would have been preserved.
Durham couldn’t be bothered.
If convicted by the Senate for removal yes, it precludes him from holding office again.
