Amid Capitol riot fallout, Michigan lawmaker says legislature's election inquiry will continue

Members of the Michigan legislature will continue their inquiry into reported irregularities in the 2020 election, a state lawmaker revealed this week, despite growing pressure to abandon further scrutiny of the 2020 presidential election results amid fallout from the recent Capitol riot.

The riot at the U.S. Capitol came amid a pro-Trump "Stop the Steal" rally to protest the certification of Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 election. Trump himself spoke at the rally, urging participants to "show strength" and "be strong" in their protests of the certification.

Though the president stressed that the protests should be done "peacefully and patriotically," the mayhem that numerous rally attendees soon generated at the Capitol has been laid mostly at his feet by many, with Democrats and pundits claiming the riot was largely spurred by his months-long insistence that the election was stolen from him.

In recent weeks, meanwhile — and particularly since the chaos at the Capitol — pressure has been growing for Americans to cease questioning the results of 2020. In mid-December, New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen said politicians who were questioning the 2020 results were "bordering on sedition and treason." Earlier in the month, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro claimed a Texas lawsuit challenging the election results was itself "seditious."

YouTube shortly after the Capitol chaos, meanwhile, announced enhanced penalties for anyone who posts what the company deems "false claims" about the U.S. election results. And in Wisconsin, one teacher was recently suspended reportedly for directing his students to watch a video questioning the 2020 results.

Since Jan 6th there have been many distractions keeping people from thinking about the 2020 massive voter fraud.

I am hoping FReepers will start looking for news regarding what the State Legislators are doing to fix the laws to prevent future voter fraud.

Most State Legislatures will soon be in session.

The first thing on the agenda for States with a Conservative Majority in the Legislature is to enact laws banning NO-EXCUSE MAIL-IN VOTING. Or if no-excuse mail-in voting is allowed, then immediately rescind that law.

Ban mail in voting.
Ban Dominion.
Ban everything but a physical ballot at the poll.

So begins the walk back, where they pretend they're going to reform a blatantly fraudulent system because they can't afford to have people walk away.

Too late. President Trump exposed it all for the world to see.

The story talks of Hillary Clinton’s contention that the 2016 election wasn’t on the up and up. She’s right. There was massive voter fraud in that election.

And in spite of that, she still lost.

I think that they took the lessons of the Trump organization’s concentrated campaign activity in selected districts in 2016 as a model for their concentrated ballot cheating in selected districts in 2020.

The fix is in.

Any investigation will show problems but not enough to alter Joe Biden's historic 80 million voter turnout victory.

Anyone who says otherwise will label a conspiracy theorist and kook who needs to be fired from their job. Everyone will be forced by pressure and fear to regurgitate the party line that Joe Biden won the election in a landslide. That is how history will record it because the winners write the history

The reason that the Republicans have contempt and hatred for their base is because it justifies in their how they screw the base and clears their conscience for doing so.

Also need more controls over the printing and reading of ballots. For example

- Only US based printers to be used
- digital water mark for each ballot identifying the serial number of the machine it was printed on
- batch and unique serial number for each and every ballot
- ballots to be tracked with a chain of custody from printer to final storage after election
- ballots to be marked each time a machine processes the ball with a date/time/serial number/action timestamp

... there are more controls that should be implemented but the big two you have already listed - ban no excuse mail in voting and Dominion (or any non US vote software/machine)

Citizens of Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and Nevada should keep up the pressure on the respective state legislatures to investigate the past election.
Does not matter if SCOTUS denied LinWood or SidneyPowell expedited review.

Stop “one person, one vote.” It’s never been that simple.
