DEVELOPING: Democrats in both the House and Senate are planning to draft legislation to classify MAGA rallies as "domestic terrorist activity" and require the FBI, DOJ & DHS to take steps to prevent such "domestic terrorism." Sen. Durbin is leading effort along with Rep Schneider

Wow. This took less than a week. For a group who rarely used “terrorists” during the last administration, they are quick with the pen. And speaking of quick....in less than a week they also drew up impeachment papers. Impeachment with a week left is much more important than the stimulus bill I guess, which took several weeks....

I'm just a simple Aviation Airdale who looks at history and now correlates it to the unique situation of this Nation. There will be NO armed patriots confronting LEO or National Guard on battlefields nor in the urban streets. It will be clandestine cells targeting the enemy, much like the Swamp Rats of the Revolutionary War.

Those clandestine groups are forming as I write this, and of course all armed, practiced, and many ex-military and/or hunters even LEOs.. Once the Swamp Rats (PatRats) get the attention of the PTB, I have difficulty how to find a truce. Got ideas?

I suspect you are right about the grandstanding. More and more will come out in the next few days until conservatives are in a lather about the coming dystopia. Then comes the inauguration and Biden steps forward to preach peace and tell the Democrats and oligarchs to stand down. Conservatives will be expected to be so grateful they will never again question the fair election of the munificent and magnificent President.
