General Motors debuted a new logo meant to convey the automaker’s renewed commitment to the production and sale of electric vehicles. The company is also launching a new marketing campaign to underscore that commitment, as it seeks to compete with Tesla and other automakers that are rushing new EVs to market.
It’s been about a decade since GM has last tweaked its logo, but this update represents the starkest change in the company’s 113-year history. The most obvious change is the use of a lowercase “gm” in the logo, after previously only using capital letters. The underline has been shortened to just the “m,” in a nod to the company’s recently announced Ultium electric vehicle battery and platform.

They will become a government entity. If electric vehicles were to replace the existing fleet, they can never be powered by the existing grid and certainly not with “green” energy. Unless consumers were severely coerced by government, most consumers still want internal combustion engines. Hopefully sanity will return before the Democrats succeed in curtailing American freedom.People will be very, very angry when the Democrats take away their vehicles.

Back in September, I bought a 2020 Ford F-150, XLT Sport, short bed truck, in “velocity blue” - for my 60th birthday. Now I’m wondering if that may have been a less-than-wise purchase, considering the present state of affairs.
I think it is designed to fit in with all those Jony Ive-style icons that are on current iPhones/iPads/iPod Touches.

Actually, there will be fewer cars and there will be times when electricity to charge the electric cars is available only at VERY high price.
