“The Fight for the Soul of Seattle” examines the role of Seattle’s City Council in allowing the situation to reach what many experts consider epidemic levels under the guise of a compassionate approach to people who suffer from substance addiction and who commit crimes to feed their habit.
It documents the heartbreaking condition of people on the streets, and the crushing decisions Seattle entrepreneurs are forced to contemplate as their life savings and dreams are destroyed by theft, vandalism and a dwindling customer base. This documentary also explores potential bold solutions to treat those living on the streets and pair them with agencies and assistance that can provide a clear path away from the endless circle of addiction and crime.

It's my most compelling answer to those who ask me, "why are you a conservative?"
Because I am not stupid. Why are they?
All the liberal crapholes throughout the country arrived there because of their embracing of godlessness. Period.
I’ve seen this. Very depressing.
It’s dead, Jim.
Seattle has no soul. No decent person will want to voluntarily live there or conduct a business there or in Portland. Have some sympathy for some natives ( not many) who have watched their cities and states transformed by crazies.
I watched it....so sad ..I was there as a child for the world’s fair back I n the 60’s. I remember going to the Space Needle with my parents. My brother in law is an attorney who retired from his practice in the city. He’s glad to be not there....it use to be a wonderful place to visit...who is going to save out cities?
I meant to say who is going to save our historical cities?
I watched this a few weeks ago. It is excellent.
I hear there’s a recall effort going on against that Seattle City Councilwoman Shawanti or some such name. She a Maoist scumbag.
Our beloved governor, Jay Inslee, is mobilizing the National Guard in order to provide protection for our upcoming legislative session. However, when antifa and blm were tearing Seattle apart and establishing an "autonomous" zone (a true act of insurrection), Inslee commented, '"That’s news to me," he said, laughing."
No National Guard for Seattle, no need for posturing, no need to flex muscle, no need of pretending at that time.
Cesspools.
Why don’t they shut down Microsoft and put some more people on the street?
Thanks for posting this.
I was impressed by the guy’s coverage until 75% of the way
through the program, when he started advocating forced rehab
on these people.
Successful rehab rates are incredibly low. So here he
suggests one more dead end government fix to the problem.
These idiots never learn. The government created this mess.
Now they want still more government.
Shaking head, W T H !
Astonished when they revealed the crime statistics of a slew of individuals...one perp had 60 and more felony arrests including violent crimes against persons...catch and release.
Ain't the drugs, it's the citizens that voted the scumbags into office..
the stupid burns deep in Seattle, Portland, Chicago...every dem/progressive controlled city in the US.
Have to wonder after the deep and wide spread election fraud if the efforts weren't tested on a smaller scale where local voter turnouts are usually rather low. School boards, city council members, etc. Always amazed at videos that show people obviously semi-literate, disheveled, basically uncivilized at the local levers of power....how could a sane person vote for them in any position.
Why bother? They made their bed; let them...
Unions
They tell their members who to vote for.
Honestly, as unhappy as folks must be, I’m shocked the whole
loony city council hasn’t been recalled, or worse.
Yes, that guy that had 72 violent felony convictions, and
the defense and Prosecution Attorney each wanted him to get
off again.
IMO > that should be a crime in and of itself. I’d class
it a felony also.
