Diversify by learning about and joining other social media and Internet services such as Parler, Gab, DuckDuckGo, and Reddit. It may seem like a lot of extra work initially, but if you slowly shift your reliance away from the same handful of companies, it will be worth it in the long run.

Watch original unedited hearings and news conferences on CSPAN or other places you can find them.
When you see news outlets, “fact checkers,” Internet companies, and others working hard to keep you from seeing or believing something; or controversializing a news outlet, reporter, or other person; use that as a cue to understand that the item/fact/study at issue may actually be true and worthy of further inquiry on your part. The attention giving to censor or controversialize typically signals that powerful interests are trying to hide something or attempting to further a narrative that may be false.

Reddit banned the Trump group.
That group did as much as anything to help get him elected.
So they banned it before 2020.
They banned a lot before the election. Now they are purging.

I plan to do something fun with it after retirement, for my late Boomer peers.

The problem is that social media is just the beginning. They are already banning Trump from email services, and this extension is being made to virtually everything about Trump. But what is really frightening is the impact the communists will make upon the Internet infrastructure as a whole, particularly with domain assignments.
In short, they are coming for ALL conservative and populist sites that promote populism and non-RINO republicanism. Including this site. It’s not just a matter of hosting providers or server storage content and distribution: It will be the very foundation of using the infrastructure of the Internet as a whole which will be forbidden.
The dystopia is just starting unless Trump pulls off the Hail Mary of all Hail Mary’s. 2021 will be regarded as the year that humanity comes to a screeching halt otherwise.
Duck Duck somehow flips back over to Google so I don’t trust them. They also don’t have current news. YMMV but I’ve seen this every time I use them.

Sriously, she talks about getting away from the corrupt big tech and then says to go to one of the worst ones.
Went for a hair cut today. No body was talking about Donald Trump. They were talking about how bad Big Tech and social media is.
Ham ham ham. Cannot say enough. Network to others off of repeaters and you can reach out hundreds of miles on 2 meter
You do have to find 3 ham operators to administer the final test for general license. Online tests. Suggest buying the book also

She’s a bit of a dimwit techwise. First sentence, use alternative social media. Second sentence, go check out the big ham radio group on facebook. LOL
Distributed Social Networks are pretty resilient but a little tricky to set up. Most rely on Java which is expensive hosting. They all are installed via root access, command line. When it’s all said and done though, the network is distributed across multiple servers. Diaspora is the name of one. Friendica is another.
There are also Free Speech centric hosting companies but many are overseas.
reddit kicked Trump supporters off. duckduckgo has gone downhill because they just take results from google and show you that. I used to use dogpile and it was good but then they were no longer available as a browser search engine for some reason; https://www.dogpile.com/
