If You Leave the U.S. Permanently, Where Should You Go?
Daily Reckoning ^ | 12/09/11 | Gary Gibson

You see, people are fed up. Not just with economic conditions. But with the political ones. We suspect that that frustration is tinged with fear. We know it is in our case.

The state is growing outright despotic…tyrannical. You have congressmen who make no bones about telling us that we should all be subject to arrest and detention by the military. This at a time when the definition of “terrorism” is expanding to include any activity that annoys the political class.

The government has been in the business of prohibiting personal behaviors, regulating

professional ones and eating out our substance since the beginning. It’s all only gotten worse over time.

But now the state is showing its true face. And it’s so horrible that many of us feel compelled to flee for our lives.

The fact this question is being asked is all the more reason this country desperately needs to split. We’re done as a 50-state entity.

There’s only so much a governor can accomplish.

Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay. There are many open spaces ripe for open immigration/developement. Millions. One could start another country. My choice would be Valparaiso Chile. Close to Santiago and the weather is perfect. Canary islands. If you’re old weather is most important. If you have a female companion you’re in trouble because they have a way of getting themselves into it. Pinochet is from Valparaiso. If he was here we wouldn’t have any problems.

I know three couples that moved to Costa Rica in the last ten years. All three have left and are now in Spain and Italy. The crime in CR is out of control.

Lots of male competition for Chinese females who will ‘urge’ you to earn enough money so they can live the life style they would like to be accustomed to.

Ecuador has a large community of expats and a very low cost of living. North Macedonia and Bulgaria both have low cost of living as well and a large percentage of both countries speak English.

Where would you go?I don’t think there is any place on this planet that I would want to go too.

You can’t go to Australia unless you can prove your wealthy enough to support yourself.Same with most western countries.

The rest of them rely upon the United States to defend them against the bully’s of the world.

Unfortunately with the U.S. in the shape its in they will be on their own. There’s no where to go so If a war starts its going to be fought by the people that can’t leave. The Wealthy instigators/Politico’s will be able to flee with their lives. While we suffer the consequences that wars bring.

Wishful thinking. Demographics are going to destroy Texas. Better start having lots and lots of babies to outbreed the millions of illegals and californians moving in.

If we suddenly ran out of oxygen, what else would you breathe?

Its really the same question.

There really is nothing else. Everything else is toxic or cant help and as that relates to your initial question means it too will be lost to turncoats.

Stand here because there is no future elsewhere unless there is a future here.

One of my cousins would strongly disagree with you-he has been married to the daughter of Black Cuban escapees from Castro’s Cuba for 35 years-they have 3 kids, several grandkids and live near Miami-they met in the military and she is a perfectly nice. non-racist person-my family is Hispanic/Caucasian...

Black people who live in rural areas rather than cities, or have family who recently came from someplace outside of the US are very different from big city Black people, in my opinion-but my family and I are nothing like many city-raised Hispanics, for that matter-maybe the racist/ethnic/hate thing is a matter of geography rather than race/ethnic group...

I have EU citizenship. I too have thought of Poland, or Hungary, but I of course don’t speak the language. I may travel through E Europe in Spring to see what it’s like over there. Take a 2 week euro rail pass and a backpack, stay at some cheap motels in Spring. Did that 5 yrs ago in the NW of Europe and had a blast, and it really wasn’t all that expensive. I rented a bicycle each place I stayed.

Trouble is, with the US defeated by the Deep State, there is NO safe place anymore. You better believe that the EU and the new USSA will go after Texas...and East Bloc EU immediately.

“I e spent a total of two months in Guatemala and about three weeks in Nicaragua, and both are lovely countries where you can live on the cheap.”

What about Honduras? I have visited friends and family there and the people are very lovely and kind. They seem to like Americans.

I’m from Sweden, same there.

In March I start making my plans. I am hoping by then, things are more clear about where everything stands. Right now it’s too fluid. Oh snap, forgot about Covid, not sure how that might affect my ability to EU rail it this Spring...
