Speaking only for myself, I have no problem over his question and replied with a list of reasons why I do not stop posting this thread every week.

In our large community, someone else would if I did so, and that to me means the thread is still useful.

Some FReepers want it, so I post it!

Your response to him was well reasoned and classy, and should put to rest any further questions as to the necesssity of this thread.

No question should be held to be "stupid" or nonsense if it elicts the type of reasoned response your answer provided. I'll always support the ability of someone to ask a question as long as it's not personally harassing or threatening to another FR member.

Some FReepers want it, so I post it!

And BTW, this is one thread I never try to miss on Sunday morning!
