Hang him first and then give him a “fair trial) ala Judge Roy Bean latter. Get them pardons signed and get his affairs in order and get his travel plans to, what?, non-extraditonal countries. He could pick up pardoned Assange and Snowden on the way. Damn. Focus. I am glad they took his Tweeter away. He needs to work.

Wouldn't NOW be the optimal time to launch a SECOND--not third party? It could be called the MAGA Party--America's other Party. The GOPe morons can no longer be bribed by Turtle's "power" to make them committee chairmen. We have two years to prepare for the 2022 midterms, when a third of America's Senators come up for re-election. And another third of 'em in 2024. Who says a "third party" has to gain a majority immediately?
Back in the 80’s, when I was manning the barricades against the Soviets, I used to wonder what it would be like to be a hapless Russian.
Like William Hurt and his detective workplace in the movie Gorky Park, it would be dreary, cold, dark and forlorn. Life would be like that for the vast masses. Like him, I would live with the knowledge that a single wrong move and the KGB could snatch me away... And the myth of the common man in charge would be destroyed with the knowledge of the life of leisure the politically privileged had. The ones I worked for, the ones I encountered along the way.
I couldn’t imagine a Russian having a normal life, and scoffed at Sting and the Police’s song, “Do the Russians Love Their Children, Too?” I would reply, “Not with all those nuclear missiles!”
But now, almost 40 years later...?
I don’t know what went wrong, but we’re living that dark, forlorn life, where with one wrong move, the FBI can snatch you away.

Maria Bartiromo Salary: During her years at CNBC, Maria’s peak annual salary topped $6 million. As of 2018 she has earned at least $10 million per year in salary from Fox.
She could be making 12-15 million today hard to say.

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
How is Chuck U Schumer going to get (remember, there are now 48 democrats and two “Independents—Burnie and Anus King for a total of 50, plus CamelHoe for the tiebreaker) 17 Republicans to vote “Guilty”?
Maybe Dominion can be used to change their Senate vote?
Seriously, I think the House will vote to Impeach by Friday.
The Senate may or may not have a trial, but the Trump legal defense can now go to the Supremes to ask if, since the Constitution says who can be impeached—to wit, the President (and other officials). It says “The President”, as in—the one, not the one and the ones who are no longer President. I think Alito, Barret, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Thomas will rule you cannot try him as he is no longer President, and the Constitution doesn't say former but rather THE president.
But even so, how are the democrats going to get 17 RINOs to agree to convict? They got Romney last time, and I could see them picking up five or six more, but 17 is bridge too far. The careers of such politicians would be over in any Trump state that does this. Some of them are up for election in 2022.
Mittens will find out in four years the consequences for his previous vote.
What a great post and so true now. One wrong word and your life is ruined by a combination of financial and physical attacks and soon we will just be taken away.
