A New York lawmaker from Queens is getting big blowback for tweeting that because of Wednesday’s Capitol riots, the 9/11 attack is no longer his most frightening memory.
“Seeing the Twin Towers crumble is no longer the most frightening moment of my life,” tweeted state Sen. John Liu (D-Queens).
The tweet, which Liu sent at 4:26 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, as the Washington, D.C., riot unfolded, is still being blasted as tone-deaf days later.

Yeah, because a few broken panes of glass and a protester being assassinated by one of your plainclothes security officers is MUCH worse than gigantic buildings falling down and thousands killed, you damned drama queen.
So what, who’s going to stop them? They’re playing up this Capitol incident right now to try to paralyze us from responding to the ongoing theft of our country. The longer we remain paralyzed the closer we come to the door closing on us for good. I don’t see any superheroes waiting in the wings to swoop in and save the country. The Republicans are pretty much on the dems’ side, playing right along with the leftist script of demonizing Trump supporters. Of all the treachery of the last couple of months, the most shocking and concerning thing to watch was how nearly every Republican representative just ripped their mask off (not the COVID one) and revealed themselves to be as rabidly anti-Trump and anti-American, frankly, as are the most unhinged leftist dems. It was clear from the electoral vote “debate”’farce that the republicans are solidly aligned with the dems in their assault on traditional America.
