Thought Control by Controlling the News

Like many people, I attended school, K-12, and four years in college. I then spent two years in graduate school. For all the lessons I was taught and all the reading I've done – thousands of books – added to all the historical movies, TV shows, and documentaries that I've watched, I never once was told that the barbarians who invaded Rome were, indeed, justified.

The Real Barbarians

The Romans were the ones who acted like barbarians to their captors and to the slaves that they made out of them. This 'personal' revelation came to me as a result of watching a TV series. On the History Channel's eight-part series, The Barbarians, for the first time, I learned how the barbarian uprisings over a 700-year period eventually spelled the death of Rome.

Nine different leaders were highlighted in this series, and each of their assaults on Roman territory seemed justified. These leaders did not know one another, and decades or even hundreds of years passed between the emergence of each.

How is it that in all the schooling that we receive, when we learn about the Egyptian Empire, Greek civilization, the Roman Empire, and so on, we’re hardly exposed to their excesses, particularly in a way that registers?

The people that Rome considered barbarians were treated unmercifully. Roman soldiers and Roman citizens regarded them as little more than cattle. The 'barbarians' had every right to rebel. They had every right to free themselves from their captors, kill them if they could, and seek whatever peace they might find in this world.

The Official Story

I surmise that with all history, the 'official story' belongs to those in power. So, over the course of two millennia, the Roman view of these uprisings prevailed in the history books, and eventually the movies, videos, and A/V presentations that are readily available today.

It makes me wonder: What historical viewpoint of today will prevail? Who will control the narrative of what will be written in history books? At this time, in our society, unfortunately, the 'mainstream media' are the gatekeepers. Starting with the New York Times, the Washington Post owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos of Amazon, across hundreds of other newspapers throughout the country, and joined by ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, and MSNBC, a handful of 'elites' control the contemporary narrative.

The elite media machine has spent four years decrying every activity, behavior, and utterance of Donald Trump. Like him or loathe him, when 92% of stories about an individual are negative, one might query, how slanted is today's media?

No Objectivity, All Viewpoint

CNN and MSNBC cannot broadcast for longer than 90 to 120 seconds without a fresh bashing. Time it for yourself. As Laura Logan, a former reporter for CBS’s 60 Minutes, quipped, if you don’t like the president’s style, then report 50% on that and 50% on his achievements.

When are you reporting 92% negative, and presumably 8% neutral or positive, what kind of service are you offering to the populace? Actually, none. You’re advocating a viewpoint and only a parallax viewpoint. The "mainstream media" are quite successful as advocates because many elites simply are never exposed to any other point of view.

Recent revelations about “the newspaper of record,” The New York Times, reveal that the paper has moved so far to the left that the attempted pretense of objectivity is gone. Are even the liberal/progressive founders rolling over in their graves?

Bari Weiss, a departing editor, commented months back that the Times serves as an advocate for predetermined political positions. It does not seek to report on news, it seeks to shape news – daily, consistently, thoroughly, so as to leave no doubt as to what readers ought to know and to believe. Worse, she mentioned “Twitter has become its ultimate editor.”

Steeped in What We ‘Know’

The broad mass of news and information consumers dwell behind the information “Iron Curtain” and won’t bother to look further. Even the "fact-checkers" are hopelessly biased. As such, the media machine gets to unceasingly spew its propaganda. The irony is that news consumers are only a few clicks away from alternative and more objective news and views.

So, it seems we're going to have to wait several years, if not a couple of decades, to discover the truth about what's actually occurring now. It's a shame because we have the capabilities today to generate objective news more effectively than at any other time in history.

Not even close.

About 50% are behind that Electronic Curtain.

About 50% despise the old media and get their information elsewhere.

President Trump would not have gotten about half the vote (uncertain because of all the irregularities, illegal voting, and outright fraud) otherwise.

You didn’t think the fact that the just about the entire MSM declined to report on or investigate the Hunter Biden hard drive was some sort of oversight or coincidence, did you?

It’s like living in an alternate reality. I’m listening to a poll watcher describe how he saw ballots manipulated and votes added - and then the Fox top of the hour news feed comes on and tells me there is no evidence of fraud.

Indeed we do have the ability to create more objectivity and truth than at any other time in history. Tragically we are doing precisely the opposite. We are generating an ever shrill tapestry of lies and deception that blankets truth with scurrilous political tyranny.
The tyrants among us have taken over. They run the government, the universities, the media, and the corporate world. We, the people, the patriots, have no say in any of this.
There remains one single organ of communication and opposition to which the tyrants have no access. It is one well know to patriots and unknown to tyrants. It is the Kingdom of God.
We must, if we are to throw off the chains of bondage, immerse ourselves deeply into God. He is our Refuge, our Saviour, our Hope, and our Armor. In Him there is no slavery, no inustice, and no oppression. In Him we receive the Spiritual power to fight against the principalities of this dark world.

This is where the action has been for years. Those images from the news that showed the vote totals with Trump ahead in certain states are going to be purged also, like people.
Then history can be rewritten. For the children.

Face it. The idea of a free, diverse press reporting the facts and informing the people is now a fiction. The MSM, big tech, financial institutions that control capital, the Democrat Party and the deep state are all firmly controlled by the globalists. Their “great reset” demands a one world authoritative government controlled by wok elites. They believe that is the only way to “save” the planet. Individual American liberty, freedom, the concept of nation and patriotism, and especially a President who advocates “america first” must be eliminated by any means necessary. The corrupt, demented Biden, forever fouled by the stench of illegitimacy, is their perfect figurehead.

You are correct, and there are countless other examples.

Trump is not a politician, and definitely not trained in the ways of DC or national politics. That might have been one of his greatest weaknesses, but also one of his greatest strengths. He could get through all the b.s. quite quickly. For example, he was correct despite the avalanche of opprobrium unleashed on him when he said that the media was the enemy of the people. That can help explain the 92% negative, except I don’t really think he had to point that out to achieve 92% - it was a fait accompli. Washington Post even put the banner on its 1st page that “democracy dies in darkness” in reaction to the Trump Presidency. Yet no one in the media today is connecting the meaning of that banner to the pre- and post election censorship, news suppression and re-direction of search engines, etc. The reason why this is so, like Trump’s observation, is too simple, too obvious.

The reality is this - the “free press” as it was thought of at the founding of this country** exists in insignificant pockets in the US right now. The major media does not equal free press ... it is an asymmetrical, one-political-party-corporate complex that is actually challenging our own constitutional system of governance by the people, for the people. What used to be a “free press” has morphed into this, starting in the television era, like a frog put into a cold pot of water to be taken to boil. Was this inevitable, based on human nature, the creation of new technology and a decline in the influence and acceptance of the culture’s religious foundations? The average citizen is too busy working, taking care of themselves and family, to realize this has happened. Many people who are up on things like this also haven’t realized this, or are in denial of its reality. What is called the “free press” today no longer exists to any significance in the US and that bodes not well.

** Here is a small excerpt from the Congressional record about the electoral college in 1800. The last paragraph gives insight into the press’ function during a very acrimonious presidential election where the parties were deadlocked.

“All accounts received by individuals at a distance, as well as the feelings of citizens on the spot, concur in establishing that the present is among the most solemn eras which have existed in the annals of our country.

“That confidence, which hitherto reposed in tranquil security, on the wisdom and patriotism of Congress, stand appalled at dangers which threaten the peace of society, and the existence of the Constitution.

“Placed in the midst of such circumstances, with the solicitudes of millions centering on the deliberations of their Representatives, it becomes a sacred duty of the press to make that people, whose rights are involved, the depositary of the earliest and most correct information.”

“...and then the Fox top of the hour news feed comes on and tells me there is no evidence of fraud.”

Or the modified line is that the election fraud was not significant enough to change the results. The response to that is this: How do you know that? And what about the election rigging by the major media and big tech. The same entities that still claim a couple thousand dollar postings of facebook ads by some unknown Russians caused HRC’s 2016 loss.

Of course, one arrest following police training and written protocol in demonkkkrap controlled Minneapolis is enough to promote widespread and deep systemic racism as truth resulting in suffering, death and significant property loss and freedom across the US for months. The examples are countless. We know why this is so where no proof is used to advance certain issues and “truths”, and actual proof and videos are used to marginalize or dismiss legitimate concerns and people.

Find your tribe. Network, meet in person. Social media can’t censor what you say in private.

Preserve conservative institutions like churches, schools and clubs. Fight social justice infiltration or pressure to submit to liberal political demands like, “you really need a BLM lecturer in here, you’ll be good if you throw up our political symbols”.

Fight any attempt to add social justice to codes of conduct. For example, the National Association of Realtors just implemented a policy where you can be fined or expelled for “hate speech”, public or private. Other organizations have weaker versions of this, but expect it to ramp up.

Law, medicine and social work already have rules regarding this, equating trust and respect and empathy to liberal values - so you can’t get licensed if you don’t agree. Fight this, if you don’t want to be kicked out of professional organizations if you don’t pass the liberal political litmus test.

Hire conservatives, because businesses are firing them.

2ndvote.com allows you to find conservative and neutral businesses that share your values.

You can even sort by category (restaurants, groceries, hardware, retail) or values (pro-life, 2nd amendment).

The quality of an elected government will never exceed the quality of the press.

It’s like living in an alternate reality.

The reason it seems like that to you is because it is true. We have been completely and expertly divided by TPTB (The Powers That Be). The exact same event will be understood in diametrically opposed ways by the two sides. For years they have used this almost exactly even division against us in both political and social settings. They have used it to force us to hold our noses and vote for whatever 'republican' candidate they want, because we felt like we didn't have any choice to do otherwise.

I suspect strongly that TPTB has decided the utility of this has fully come to it's absolute fruition, and are going to start massive crackdowns on those of us who still believe in the concepts of individual rights under a republican form of government.

We're in for a long, hard ride. Thankfully, I'm closer to the end of my days now than the beginning of them, and I have little, if anything that's going to hold me back.
