WASHINGTON -- The man photographed sitting at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's desk during Wednesday's riots in the US Capitol has been arrested and charged with three federal counts, including theft of public property, federal officials said Friday.
Federal officials said Richard Barnett of Arkansas was taken into custody Friday morning in Little Rock.
Barnett was charged with knowingly entering and remaining in restricted building grounds without authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds as well as the theft of public property, officials said.
A resident of Alabama was also charged in connection with the pipe bomb found on the south side of the Capitol building. Eleven Molotov cocktails and military-style weapon were found in his pickup truck, officials said.
"Just because you've left the DC region you can still expect a knock on the door if we find out you were part of the criminal activity at the Capitol," said Steven D'Antuono, assistant director in charge of the FBI's Washington field office.
"The FBI is not sparing any resources in this investigation," he said.
It was not immediately clear whether Barnett has an attorney.
“The FBI is not sparing any resources in this investigation,” he said.

Spent the summer playing tiddlywinks. Now a law & order hardliner.
Part of me is wondering though if he gets a small fine, which Nancy will pay with a note saying, “Well Done!”
Doubt this was too hard, he used his real face in the photo.
For all I know, he used his real name.
FBI has been asking people for tips.
Would have been a good time to wear a facemask.
This sends yet another message:
Antifa? We got your backs. Do what you do. We give you free reign.
Trump supporters?
We’ll end you all.
Act accordingly, FRiends.
>>Government of, by, and for the People?<<
No, it’s government of people who crap on the little people and protect themselves.
Was this the Viking/Defund the Police Guy?
Wait, I thought these folks were all Antifa? That’s what I keep reading here anyways.
he should include the Capitol Police officer who shot the unarmed Mrs. Babbitt as well, as a gesture of national healing and solidarity.
Black man/woman/it shooting unarmed woman in Capitol Bldg? He was possibly not a cop/guard? How about maybe a congressit?

I unfortunately doubt it will happen though. Someone clipped PDJT’s wings, and I think it’s because he realizes that he has to ‘play ball’ or his own family will be forfeit.
Oh so now we see the FBI can actually get something done within 24 hours. Who knew.
Well, if he stays out of jail, he'll never have to buy another beer for the rest of his life.

He look like a man is the best description of someone who’s been charged?
Exactly.
So. Obviously. Planned.

This man's behavior was beyond the boundaries of the law and he should be held accountable. Conservatives, do not make the mistake of excusing or condoning unlawful behavior. All conservatives then get painted with one broad ugly brush. The media is looking for every opportunity to condemn every conservative based on the actions of the extremists who are a minuscule percentage our ranks. Support legal opposition, discourage extremism and condemn unlawful behavior or our cause will die under the weight of the media onslaught.
They don't need to convict him. He will plead guilty. Once he hears the potential penalties for his actions, he will be begging for a deal that doesn't put him in prison for years. They are going to be looking for people to make examples of...
The “Viking” is 32-year old Arizonan Jake Angeli, a QAnon guy. There’s currently a warrant out on him as a person of interest.
I thought most of the pics were great! I laughed a lot.
Be careful of how CNN writes things.
Think you missed his sarcasm.
