Except, surprisingly and with profound disappointment, one of the (former) stalwart conservatives in the House, California's Tom McClintock chose to turn his back not only to Trump but to the Constitution ... and did so with a very public flourish by signing the "surrender letter" last Sunday.
What is not surprising is that because of this, McClintock's political career is over ... dead ... self-annihilated.
