House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said during a press conference Thursday that if Vice President Mike Pence does not move forward with efforts to remove President Donald Trump from office, then the House might impeach the 45th president.
Pelosi signaled her support for using the 25th Amendment and floated that the House may try to remove Trump from office via impeachment.
“If the vice president and the cabinet do not act, the congress may be prepared to move forward with impeachment,” Pelosi said.

The Capitol Police Chief resigned today after Pelosi demanded he be fired. Schumer said he'd fire the Senate sergeant-at-arms if he isn't gone by January 21. Obviously the Democrats are shook-up. Trying to impeach President Trump again isn't going to go over any better than the first time. Even more people will storm the Bastille.
I’d bet both my stimulus checks that neither the Chief nor the Sgt. at Arms were the ones who decided to order their officers to let the rioters in. Someone told them to do it.
