Attorney withdraws from election challenge lawsuit, saying Trump used him to 'perpetrate a crime'

An attorney representing President Trump in one of his dozens of lawsuits challenging the 2020 election moved to withdraw from the case on Thursday, telling a federal court that the president used him to "perpetrate a crime."

Philadelphia-based attorney Jerome Marcus asked the court to allow him to withdraw, citing concerns over Pennsylvania's professional conduct standards for lawyers.

Marcus wrote that "the client has used the lawyer's services to perpetrate a crime and the client insists upon taking action that the lawyer considers repugnant and with which the lawyer has a fundamental disagreement."

"citing concerns over Pennsylvania's professional conduct standards for lawyers."

Most people go to work and do what they have to do to keep their job, not necessarily do their job.

I have read this many times and up until today I went with the people who say to do so will only split the vote thus insuring a dims win....because not enough people would go with the new party.

The events of the past few days have demonstrated that those who say it would be a mistake are wrong.

For anyone who has not noticed.

WE ARE LOSING already.

But the real clincher is that the repub party today is so deeply entrenched with the likes of McConnell, the governor and secretary of state of the state of GA, and you can go down the list of another several hundred, all so deeply entrenched in the power structure that they will never ever be rooted out or changed. They are there until they die.

The only way now is either a new party or a war and of the two a new party is the only way.

However I think it essential to get the right people involved. People like Jim Jordan, OH, Matt Gaetz and the several others like them. If they would not go, it should be a no-go.

You are exactly right. There is still one power that the people still have — denying these evil losers our vote will create openings for better people.

But to do that we have to overcome our fear of the democrats taking over. This election has shown very clearly that voting out of fear of the other side actually enables them by keeping the corrupt republicans in office. None of what transpired in this election could have happened without republican involvement. Since they so willfully threw away all their power I cannot see any reason to fight so hard so they can keep it.

Only when republicans realize they actually have to be worth something to keep their jobs will we get a congress worth having.

The republican party was dying before Trump showed up, and they will go right back to dying after Trump.

They simply have no message worth anything to anybody. They don’t represent anyone and they have failed repeatedly to actually accomplish anything when they are in power.

The best revenge we can have is to make sure as many as possible are voted out. Primary them if we can, and if not, patriots need to start infiltrating the democratic party. There should not be an uncontested republican seat anywhere. Worst case, all the yammering fools piling on the anti-Trump train should find that republican voters don’t show up to the polls for them.

Look at the turnaround in Ted Cruz after his near loss.

I just finished watching ‘Aquarius’ on NetFlix. It is a fictional account of the Manson Family Murders. I had always thought that the 60s were bizarre time in American and while I was thinking on that era I had an epiphany. The 60s weirdness pales in comparison to what we are living through now. America is on the other side of the rainbow. One of the wheels has fallen off of the clown car and we are going to live through ‘interesting times”.

Get your affairs in order and look out for your families and friends.

Imagine how bad something would have to be for a lawyer to consider it repugnant.

LOL!!

When Betsy DeVos disowned Trump, I thought, something is saying all these people were backstabbing all along. But her, too...that’s like a Judas kiss.

Just make sure, if you have traceable deep state ties, you turn yourself in IMMEDIATELY and provide as much evidence about related crimes as you can.
