It’s a perfect statement. Morons here of course eventually turn even on president Trump. Good Bless President Trump.

*********************************

Your post well summarizes why Trump is no longer president. A lesson in wisdom and human nature. You could have posted that you thought it was a perfect statement and also post that you hope nobody condemns Trump for it. Instead you had to throw in the moron accusation and instigate anger and subsequent battles.

Throughout Trump’s presidency he did the same thing. He did great things and overall to any sane American he’s a great man. But he always had to antagonize and instigate his opposition. So instead of his enemies just disliking him or maybe even being wooed to his side, they grew to viscerally hate him. And that hate grew to the point that they were willing to do absolutely anything to get rid of him and that hate was in so many other people they were willing to look the other way as it happened.

When he first got elected he said he was going to be a boring president and we would see a change in him. But it never happened. I should change that because I would have you look at the third debate as opposed to the first debate as an example of my point. He was a different man in the third debate. He did listen to someone and left the vitriol out and did an absolutely fantastic job. If he was that man for his four years we would still have him as a president. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just saying that’s what I think would have happened. And if you left the moron accusation out of your post, you would have had a much better chance of winning more people to your side than alienating them.

That’s the best thing about him. He took everyone’s masks off. People showed clearly which side they are on.

No, first they hated Trump based on policy. He promised to kill trillion dollar trade deals that swampers would skim billions off of, build the wall, etc. The personal animosity came later when he counter punched.

“... If he was that man for his four years we would still have him as a president.”

I just have to respectfully disagree here. There is a plan in place. Obama carried that plan. and Hillary was to continue. DJT threw a giant wrench into the workings of that plan. He could have been the exact kind of president you think he should have been, but if that included being America-First, he was never going to be re-elected. Did they hate him for his rhetoric? Sure. But they hated him infinitely greater for his attempts, and even successes, to unravel that plan and at the very least delay it 4 years. This is why Paul Ryan-types set roadblocks and sabotaged him at every turn , this is why The Russian Hoax happened, This is why a virus with 99.7% survival rate was exploited, this is why people were locked down and this is why he was not re-elected. There was always going to be a steal. They had four years to plan it.

When he first got elected he said he was going to be a boring president and we would see a change in him.

Interestingly, he WAS a "boring" president by most historical measures.

He didn't start any stupid wars, he issued executive orders that were explicitly confined to the limits imposed on the President under Federal law, and he did everything as President that Congress required. Even some moves that I thought were totally inconsequential -- like relocating the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem -- were done because that's what Congress mandated (in this case 22 years before he was elected, while none of his predecessors had any interest in doing it).

He never even had a veto overridden until last week.

His biggest "crime" was that he exposed this country's political leaders as a bunch of feckless frauds. They could never forgive him for that.

In retrospect, the highlight of his political career may have taken place even before he was elected. Go back and watch a full clip of the infamous Alfred E. Smith dinner in New York City in October 2016. His treatment of the crooked politicians in attendance was so dismissive that you'd think they were nothing more than piles of dog sh!t to be avoided while you walk down the sidewalk. Chuck Schumer looked like a whipped dog, sitting there with his thumb up his @ss while Trump explained to the audience how he had spent years basically bribing Schumer when Trump was a real estate developer.

You do realize that he got far more votes than any sitting president has ever gotten before, right? You also realize that the Democrats had to massively cheat to beat him, right?

When Trump was “that man”, you realize the media would never show it?

Literally everyday in every media room their meetings consisted solely of trying to figure out how to show Trump in the worst possible light for that day.

They were spying on him, lying about him and trying to infiltrate his campaign almost from the moment he declared his candidacy. They hate him because he’s an outsider, he’s not beholden to them, he can’t be bought and he knows their secrets. That is why they hate him and for no other reasons.

They hated him before he ran.I believe he was “ nasty” cause that was the only way they would cover him in the media. The media buried Dole, McCain and romney. They thought they could ridicule and write off Trump cause they thought he had NO chance. Once he got in, they never stopped attacking him. How else will they brainwash the 14 to 17 year olds in 2016?
Please never watch or pay for mainstream media again. Cancel your services. They will lose subscription and advertising money. Destroy the current dishonest media businesses.

Excuse me the original poster stated disappointment with the president.

Thanks for the lecture.

And criticism of the president.
