Dyess Air Force Base outside Abilene, TX is a fully integrated SAC base, and was/is built (and upgraded), to fully act as a C2-J3/4 Command Base, and is fully integrated with US nuclear and strategic assets, SOCOM, and all major commands globally (all branches, including Space Force, and includes IC C2 and Cyber Command), and has some strategic assets of its own.
If true, this is interesting coming from Wood, and both he and Powell, are likely keyed/read in to much higher level information.
In this case, Wood would be acting as an executive level mouthpiece.
We shall see.

reminds me of what came out of the narrative of the young man describing his encounter with Ashli Babbitt that died from a gun wound while he was helping her, he was right there. He described the general frustration of being without recourse or voice while DC seemingly had no respect for its people and he finished saying they are laughing at us we saw them laughing at us from a window at the DOJ as we walked past.
Makes sense he gave all a false flight plan about going to Camp David then roughly an hour ago a NOTAM was issued saying Camp David flight was cancelled.
