As a Trump-supporting mob descended on Washington, D.C., during Wednesday's unprecedented riots, a man was seen carrying a Confederate flag inside the U.S. Capitol.
Photos of an unmasked, unidentified man carrying a large Confederate flag on the second floor of the Capitol building were shared widely on Twitter by journalists on the ground during Wednesday's violent scene, with Stanford professor Sam Wineburg noting that it was the first time the flag had been publicly carried within the halls of the Capitol.

That war is long over. That flag represents something new now. I can play nice up until the point where they’re compelling me under penalty of imprisonment or worse to pay tens of thousands of dollars in taxes for property I have legally owned for decades. Once that happens, I’ll happily salute that flag as it flies over the Whitehouse.

I could care less about a confederate flag being carried. However, if you notice, the media is quick to use terms like mobs, rioters and so on in terms of describing Trump deplorables. Two standards here, one for the peaceful protesters and one for the mobs, but the world is upside down. It is time to be not so peaceful with the media and give them a lesson on what peace really feels like. They are the enemy and they need to be completely destroyed. Every single last one of them - bit-bleached, just like a hard drive.
Well, I got'a say, half of the Senators and Congressmen in DC do that very thing everyday of the week..!

Was it bad taste to carry the old confederate battle flag? Yep....
However, in recent times that flag has less to do with the old confederacy and slavery and has changed more into a sign of defiance against overreaching federal authority.
