Every group has a percentage who Go Too Far.
The MAGA hotheads took it too far, and discredited themselves. They made it a little harder to be a Trump supporter.
Where is the difference between them (the hotheads, not the whole group) and the statue destroyers? The hot heads attacked an American institution — the Congress.
Yeah, Congress is corrupt. Yeah, they haven’t been listening to We The People. Yeah, reform on many fronts os needed.
Bu this ain’t the way.
If the whole group had made a five-abreast column, and marched in a giant circle, surrounding the Capital, they’d have made as big a memorable spectacle and given the critics nothing to use against them.
The hotheads blew it for Trump and all his supporters.
There may well be a time for violence. This wasn’t it.
They played into the hands of The Swamp.
**There may well be a time for violence. This wasn’t it.**
While I wouldn’t have broken windows to get in, I would have been willing to be right outside any window or door shouting.
That being said, not as much as a single scratch or bruise on any member of congress, or leo.
Fixing a window or door? Big deal. Ever replaced one? Pretty easy. My first time was when I was 11 I think, after fouling a baseball in my family’s backyard.
“The hotheads blew it for Trump and all his supporters.”
Some of the hotheads were antifa infiltrators who acted the way they did precisely to discredit trump supporters.
