Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) called on President Trump to concede his election loss to President-elect Joe Biden, saying he should "quit misleading" the American people.
“It’s past time for the president to accept the results of the election, quit misleading the American people, and repudiate mob violence,” Cotton said in a statement Wednesday evening.
“And the senators and representatives who fanned the flames by encouraging the president and leading their supporters to believe that their objections could reverse the election results should withdraw those objections,” he continued.
The remarks from Cotton, a key Trump ally, came hours after a mob of Trump supporters forced their way into the Capitol building around 2 p.m., prompting lawmakers to evacuate and suspend their tally of the Electoral College votes certifying Biden's victory.

I think a sizable percentage of the adult population believes the election was stolen. Trump’s conceding would take pressure off of the thieves of the election. He should not concede, but the fact is the election is lost. Pressure is being put on House and Senate members to not object to the Electoral count and will likely succeed in light of today’s events.
The election has been successfully stolen. And Biden, bless his heart, if he lives, will be sworn in on the 20th. Since it will be a virtual inauguration, Trump can flip him a virtual bird on the 20th. Let Pence show Biden and Dr. Jill around the White House. John Adams left town the night before Jefferson was sworn in.
I believe that while he still holds his Presidential passport Trump and family should leave the country for a friendly foreign one that won’t extradite him. You know that minutes after Biden takes office, indictments will be issued.
That was my prayer - that they all be exposed for what they are and what they believe.

I said nothing about President Trump not paying taxes, I only stated he is not require to recognize Joe Biden as President.
I do not recognize or will ever accept Joe Biden as my President. I am now living in an Occupied America.
