We don’t register party affiliation in my state (Washington) so I don’t even get the satisfaction of telling the feckless pubbies to FO. I used to be active in local politics, trying to help get Republicans get elected. They would lament, “Why can’t we get elected in this state?” and I made myself unpopular by telling them, “Because you show them that you have no balls. Take a stand and give people something to believe in - for a change”
They would rather be liked then elected - and now they’re neither.

Right on. I have worked in South America ( noting how quickly things change when a socialist and corrupt government takes charge) and see ALL the signs of a revolution beginning. Not a betting man, but extreme civil unrest is coming.
