Close to half of that money — $1.5 billion — would help people purchase electric cars and build the charging stations necessary for drivers to use them. That proposal is part of Newsom’s goal to ban the sale of new gas-powered cars in California by 2035.
Small businesses would get $575 million. The money would pay for grants of up to $25,000 each to small business owners, with priority given to areas and industries most affected by the pandemic. That money includes $25 million for small museums and art galleries that have been forced to close during the pandemic.

Since I don’t want to move out of CA, all I’ve really done is hunker down and remove my teens from public school this year: one is going to private school, one is now being homeschooled.
The school situation is unbelievable enough. The problem with a one party state is that the governor and the teachers unions can do literally anything, with no pushback. None.
And I will resist buying an electric car as long as I can.

Trouble is, the MSM, Hollywood, school, universities, governments (most local and federal) are the enemies. Where and how do we fight and win?

It’s a very valid question. I will be honest with you. I spent one week of every month this summer at Lake Tahoe. I couldn’t go to Hawaii or Canada (my usual vacation spots—more closed up than CA!) so instead I used my leave by working in the morning in Tahoe and spending each afternoon on the beach. It was just bliss.
Then the wineries have been “allowed” to reopen during much of the time between March and now, and as soon as they are open, my husband and I travel to the beautiful wine country of San Luis Obispo, Napa, Sonoma, etc. We take advantage of when things are open.
I don’t miss shopping and just get things delivered. I do miss my church being still not opened, very much. I plan to start an underground small group soon, much like the underground church in China.
My family and friends are here, and we gather in backyards, and we gather at the dog park weekly. The great thing about CA is we can take advantage of our great weather. I’d rather eat in an outdoor restaurant in CA’s sunny weather than in an indoor restaurant in the snow and sleet.
I used to have to commute to San Francisco which was and is a hellhole—but now I don’t. My husband and I both work from home now 100% and it’s great. I work in my beautiful backyard often and watch my chickens, the birds, my cats and dog. It’s pretty great.
I pulled my kids from public school and one now goes to private Christian school, boldly offering in person education half time, and the other is homeschooled. That’s been hard, but obviously a good change in the end for other reasons anyway.
I don’t miss movie theaters or gyms. I do yoga at home and walk my dog.
My church is my real loss (I watch online now, but I hate zoom anything and avoid it) but I’m hopeful it will reopen soon, or I’ll make do with my underground small group church.
And the leftist mobs are indeed destroying CA’s cities but I’m in a suburb that is heavily armed. They won’t get far if they stray too far from the cities.

Conservatives need to start working in journalism and as professors. And they need to start working in Hollywood too. They need to run for school boards etc.
I’ve done my part—I work for the federal government, and try to limit the damage!

Our son flew from Calif to Tx for Xmas and is still here. He works from home, on his computer all day, internet and cell phone - all he needs, plus a good fast internet connection. He asked, “Mind if I stay longer? EVERYTHING is closed down in California”.
So many people here moved to Tx from Calif. I SURE HOPE THEY LEFT THEIR POLITICS IN CALIF!!!!!!!!!!!!
