Q&A: What happens if the U.S. Senate is equally split after Georgia’s runoffs?...Who runs the Senate, if no party has a majority?

The party that holds the vice presidency. The Constitution makes the vice president the president of the Senate, with the power to cast the decisive vote in cases of a tie.

Party of the VP, with the VP as the tiebreaker (when needed). Doubtful she’ll be needed with this Senate.

Heels up Harris.

Forget the Clinton years when that bastard Gore was the tie breaker?

Look for Manchin to become a Republican.

Why? When he can just name his price. Green New Deal exemption for West Virginia? No problem. Cayman account with $25 million? Done.

Yes he would have. Neither Loeffler, Perdue or Collins could overcome the fraud that they employed. No one can.

I drive around a significant swathe of the state. Maybe I’ve seen more than 10 Harris/Biden signs. But not much more than that.

Trump.....EVERYWHERE....4x8 sheets of plywood, hand painted...Flags...banners...flags in pick up beds....everywhere.

Sadly, they didn’t even perfect their fraud, they were just allowed to get away with it, in all the contested states, by coward state legislative bodies that allowed 2 or 3 people to run things, when they had no Constitutional authority to do so.

Now Georgia has an actual Marxist in the US Senate(Warnock) and the Male Pajama Boy Version of AOC(Ossoff).

Bad times ahead for everyone.

lol

you’re right.

He supported Trump 71 percent of the time.

Might have beat out some Rs :)

Doesn’t get a good score from conservative or liberal groups.

But he will vote the party line on judges.

There is NOT a 50/50 split in the senate, with Romney, Collins, Merkowski, Sasse, Lee there is no where near a 50/50 split!!!

Probably Schumer.

If that alone is not reason to rebel against a government gone rotten, I don't know what is.

I don’t see Schumer getting 51 or even 50 votes. Pence will still be VP.
