Senate Republicans, led by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, are risking throwing away Georgia's two Republican seats by playing "parliamentary games" with President Donald Trump's call for $2,000 COVID relief checks, according to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
"It (is) important for the Senate Republicans to get a grip, and not try to play parliamentary games with the president's $2,000 payment," Gingrich, a Fox News contributor, said on "America's Newsroom," pointing out that both GOP Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, who are fighting for reelection in next week's runoff races, said they favor Trump's proposal.
McConnell's proposal, which does not appear to be headed for a win, includes forming a commission to investigate the 2020 election and a call to repeal big tech liability protections.
"The Senate Republicans risk throwing away two seats to controlled the Senate when they play parliamentary games instead of having a straight up or down vote," Gingrich said. "I would beg (McConnell) to bring up the $2,000 payment as a freestanding independent vote.”

Did he say that these elections in GA are legitimate, just voters pissed at McConnell or is he suggesting that those pissed at McConnell for handouts to Pakistan could hamper enough republican votes making it more difficult to overcome the margin of fraud?

Remember the Freepers - many many Freepers - who loudly and loyally defended Mitt Romney against Harry Reid’s claim he didn’t pay taxes?
How did they know whether Reid was right or wrong? All they knew was that Reid was a Democrat and Romney was the Republican candidate for president, so they HAD to believe him.
But why should anyone automatically believe Romney over Reid? I would stand back and say I don’t know which of them is telling the truth, they’re both untrustworthy. But instead Freepers indignantly defended Romney.

It's McConnell, Kemp and Raffensperger's fault the elections weren't fair to begin with in Georgia.
Would we have lost both seats with the $2k stimulus? Probably. I have every expectation that no matter how the votes fell, liberals would somehow come up with enough votes to win.
Playing with it just made it all that much easier.
