Canada signed on to the Sinopharm deal, and this was expected to be one of, if not the first vaccine distributed in Canada. But China plays political games with such matters, so the vaccine appears to be “China only” for now. Fortunately for Canada, they bought into a few other vaccines, so they can do without the questionable Chinese shots.
This just reinforces what Trump has been saying from the beginning: The USA, and the world, needs to cut our dependence on Chinese products. Especially medicine and technology. They WILL (continue to) use these things against us.
Maybe it’s a stolen copy of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine? It wouldn’t be the first time they pilfered research done in the USA.
